Crypto commentator XRP Update (@XrpUdate) has highlighted the significance of where XRP price trades currently.
The digital asset has faced sustained selling pressure for weeks. The price sat just above support at $1.25 at the time of the analysis, a zone the analyst has previously identified as the strongest support on the chart.
The chart shows a daily timeframe spanning February through late October. Three horizontal blue support and resistance levels are visible at $1.6003, $1.4504, and $1.2539.

Following sustained selling pressure, XRP is trading near $1.27, just above key horizontal support at $1.25.
A sustained hold could establish a base for recovery.
 A daily close below support would increase downside risk <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f4c9.png" alt="📉" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;"><a href="https://t.co/qzWcfayRyP" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://t.co/qzWcfayRyP</a><a href="https://t.co/hz1AqvrXR1" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">pic.twitter.com/hz1AqvrXR1</a>

<h2 id="strong-the-structure-of-the-decline-strong">The Structure of the Decline</h2>
<a href="https://timestabloid.com/former-ripple-cto-on-why-xrp-is-pumping/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP peaked around $2.40</a> after a pump in January. However, it has been a prolonged downtrend. By August, the asset had dropped to approximately $1.
A sharp recovery followed, where XRP <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-rallied-50-in-65-hours-finance-expert-explains-what-comes-next/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">rose by 50% in under 3 days</a>. However, sellers quickly stepped in again. October brought another leg lower, and XRP has now retraced the bulk of that August recovery.
The $1.45 level, which acted as support earlier in the year, has now flipped to resistance. XRP has failed to reclaim it during the current decline. The $1.60 level remains further overhead and has not been tested since the October rally topped out.
<h2 id="strong-what-the-analyst-is-watching-strong">What the Analyst is Watching</h2>
XRP Update described the current setup clearly. “<a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-breakout-incoming-as-long-as-this-support-zone-holds/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">A sustained hold could establish a base</a> for recovery,” the analyst wrote, while also noting that “a daily close below support would increase downside risk.”
The $1.25 level carries weight because of its history on the chart. It held as support during the June-to-August downtrend and has been tagged again now. A daily close above it keeps the recovery scenario intact. A daily close below it removes a key technical argument for bulls.
<h2 id="strong-the-important-levels-strong">The Important Levels</h2>
The $1.2539 support is the immediate focus. Above it, $1.4504 is the <a href="https://timestabloid.com/analyst-reveals-next-major-resistance-zones-if-xrp-bulls-regain-momentum/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">first level of resistance XRP would need to reclaim</a> to shift the short-term structure. The $1.6003 level represents the top of the range established earlier this year.
XRP is at a level that demands attention. The analyst’s reading is straightforward. The asset either holds $1.25 and builds a base, or it breaks down and opens the door to further losses.
