Ethereum

Anyone reading an ethereum price prediction this week wants one answer: is ETH finally ready to turn? The chart says not yet. ETH trades at $2,430.54 on CoinMarketCap, about 51% under its $4,953.73 high from August 2025.

Holders are not selling into that weakness, though. They are locking coins up, with 1,292,455 ETH now waiting in line to be staked, per CryptoTicker. That is long term money digging in.

Patience like that has paid in ETH before. In 2014, its presale sold coins for about $0.30 each, per The Block. The buyers who held through the quiet years later watched it pass $4,900.

The same early instinct is now showing up one level below the ETH headlines. Pepeto, a meme coin still in presale, has raised more than $11.1 million from buyers who want in before it lists anywhere. That total keeps climbing while ETH waits on its next upgrade.

Ethereum Price Prediction News: Glamsterdam Reaches Its Last Test Network on October 26

That upgrade is Glamsterdam, and it now has a date. It goes live on Hoodi, the last public test network before the main chain, on October 26 at 17:42 UTC, TECHi reported on October 16.

Glamsterdam lifts the gas limit, which is how much fits into one block, from 60 million to 200 million, per CryptoTicker. That gives every trade, app and new token on Ethereum more than three times the room.

The upgrade already ran on the Sepolia test network on October 6, and no main chain date is set yet. A much bigger Ethereum is on its way, and the ETH price has not caught up to it.

More Room on Ethereum Means More New Tokens, and Pepeto Flags the Traps First

Pepeto: A Live Scanner That Scores Every Token From 0 to 100

More room on Ethereum means more new tokens, and more new tokens means more traps. Some of those coins can be bought but never sold, and the small buyer usually finds out too late.

That is the problem Pepeto was built to solve, and buyers are backing it. Its presale has raised more than $11.1 million, and its tools already run today, before the token lists anywhere.

Big traders pay teams to read a token's code before they buy. Everyone else buys blind and hopes. Pepeto's security scanner gives that same check to anyone. It runs 42 detectors on every token to find mint and blacklist switches, hidden owners and who really holds the supply.

It then tests a buy and a sell on a copy of the chain, so no real money is at risk. The result is a score from 0 to 100, and trades on tokens with critical flaws are blocked by default. In one shown example, a token scored 6, failed its sell test, and the trade never went through.

As Glamsterdam opens the way for more launches, a check like this gets more useful every week. Tools people need every day are what keep traders around after listing, and that is the case behind the 100x analysts project for Pepeto.

At $0.00000019 today, $1,000 buys about 5.26 billion tokens, worth $100,000 if analysts are right. Each stage ends when its timer runs out or its target is hit, and the next one costs more.

With a Binance listing approaching, Pepeto stands out as a strong pick for anyone who wants safer trades today and a seat before the token ever trades.

Can ETH Reach $3,000 After the Glamsterdam Test?

ETH can reach $3,000 if it closes a week above $2,550, analyst Ted Pillows told crypto.news on October 16. Today, the floor to watch is $2,400, with sellers waiting at $2,500.

The RSI, a gauge of buying strength, sits near 42, just under its middle line of 50. That leaves room for buyers to take control.

This week, FXStreet's Manish Chhetri marks the 50 day average at $2,493 as the wall. A clean break above it opens a run to $2,770, while a slip under $2,400 brings support at $2,356 and then $2,309.

This month, a weekly close above $2,550 brings $2,600 and then $2,800 into view, per crypto.news, and losing $2,300 puts $2,200 next. Even the best case, $3,000, is a 23% climb, a solid move for a giant but not one that changes a portfolio.

Ethereum Price Prediction Verdict: ETH Sold for $0.30 in 2014, and Pepeto Is Unlisted

This ethereum price prediction looks brighter after the Glamsterdam news, but ETH is no longer the $0.30 coin of 2014. Worth close to $300 billion now, it needs 23% just to touch $3,000.

Pepeto sits where ETH stood back then: unlisted, already working and drawing money early. It has a live scanner, more than $11.1 million raised and a 100x call from analysts once it lists.

This week, holders lined up 1,292,455 ETH to stake while the chart was still red. They moved before the price agreed with them, the same instinct that paid the 2014 buyers.

The stage open now on the Pepeto official website closes on its timer or its target. Buyers who move before then make that same early call, starting the projected 100x from the lowest price this presale has left.

FAQs

How does the ethereum price prediction for October affect Pepeto?

The ethereum price prediction tops out near $3,000 this month, just 23% higher. Pepeto offers the early seat ETH buyers had in 2014, unlisted, with analysts projecting 100x after listing.

Should buyers follow long term ETH outlooks or look at new coins like Pepeto?

Pepeto is the stronger move for buyers who missed ETH at $0.30, because it has not listed yet. Every stage on the Pepeto official website costs more, so waiting only shrinks the multiple.
