Ethereum

when

Anyone holding ETH wants one thing from an Ethereum price prediction right now: a date when the waiting ends. The chart hasn't offered one. ETH trades near $2,516, about 49% below its $4,953.73 peak, per CoinMarketCap.

Under the surface, though, the network is getting bigger. On a test chain, one Ethereum block now holds over three times what a main chain block can, per Decrypt. More room per block means lower costs, and lower costs are the whole reason for the upgrade.

Cost is also the story behind one of this year's busiest presales. Pepeto has raised over $11.1 million, and its bridge already moves coins between Ethereum and other chains for $0.

Ethereum Price Prediction Now Hangs on October 26, the Last Test Before Glamsterdam

Glamsterdam now has its final test date: Monday, October 26. That's when the upgrade goes live on Hoodi, the last public test chain before the main one, per Ethereal News on October 9. Client software is due by October 16.

The upgrade already ran on the Sepolia test chain on October 6. There, a block carried nearly 200 million gas, against 60 million on the main chain, Decrypt reported on October 8.

Gas is the room inside a block, so more gas means more trades fit at once and each one costs less. The main chain still has no date, though, and until it gets one, ETH holders are left waiting.

Two Picks While Glamsterdam Waits: Pepeto's Live Bridge and ETH's Slow Climb

Pepeto: A $0 Bridge Across Ethereum, Base and Arbitrum in Under 60 Seconds

Glamsterdam makes more room inside Ethereum. It does nothing for the cost of moving coins between Ethereum and the chains around it, and that cost hits every single transfer. Pepeto built its bridge for exactly that gap.

Most bridges charge $15 to $50 a transfer and can take hours, and a failed one can trap funds for good. Pepeto's bridge charges $0. It moves coins across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum in under 60 seconds.

Your tokens lock in an audited contract on one chain, and the same amount appears on the other once the lock is proven. In one shown transfer, the trip took 41 seconds. If something fails, the lock undoes itself, and since no company holds your coins in the middle, nobody can freeze them.

For someone who bridges ten times a month, that's $150 to $500 kept instead of paid. The exchange follows the same rule, with a 0% swap fee and only network gas. A former Binance expert sits on the dev team, so someone who has worked inside a top exchange is helping build this one.

That's a lot of working product for a coin that hasn't listed yet. The presale takes ETH, USDT, BNB or a card, and at $0.00000019, one ETH at today's price buys about 13.2 billion Pepeto.

Analysts project 100x after listing. At that level, the same single ETH would be worth about $251,600. Each new stage raises the price, and a stage closes when its timer ends or its target is hit. Today's price is the lowest one left.

With a Binance listing approaching, the gap between the presale price and the listing price is where early buyers stand to gain the most.

Can ETH Win Back $2,600 This Week?

ETH can reach $2,600 this week if it first clears resistance at $2,555 to $2,575, per Ahmed Barakat at CryptoNews on October 13. His support for today sits at $2,495 to $2,500. A clean break below $2,495 cancels the rebound case.

His RSI reads 46, and ETH trades under its 50 day average, so buyers aren't in control yet.

For the month, CoinGape sets $2,700 as the target, as long as ETH holds its 200 day average. Its RSI reads 57, and ETH is testing a price gap left by August's jump from about $1,800 to $2,500. A close below the average points to $2,148.

Glamsterdam could help once the main chain gets a date. Even then, a full return to $4,953.73 would only double ETH from here. For a coin this large, a double is a good year, not a life changing one.

Ethereum Price Prediction Waits on a Date, While Pepeto's Price Steps Up Each Stage

The Ethereum price prediction for October comes down to one calendar. Hoodi tests Glamsterdam on October 26, the main chain still has no date, and the best case for ETH is a slow double.

Pepeto isn't waiting on a calendar. Its $0 bridge already runs, buyers have put in over $11.1 million, and analysts project 100x once it lists.

While ETH holders wait for a date, every closing Pepeto stage pushes the entry price higher. The cheapest way in is the current stage on the Pepeto official website, before the listing sets one price for everyone.

FAQs

What is the Ethereum price prediction for October 2026?

The Ethereum price prediction for October 2026 points to $2,700 if ETH holds its 200 day average, per CoinGape. A close below it opens the way to $2,148.

Will Pepeto make millionaires?

Pepeto could reward early buyers most. One ETH buys about 13.2 billion tokens today, worth about $251,600 at the projected 100x. Each stage on the Pepeto official website costs more.
