Crypto analyst ChartNerd has raised questions about the recent absence of highly optimistic $1,000 XRP price predictions, noting a decline in activity among social media accounts previously known for making bold forecasts about the digital asset’s future value.

Community discussions shift as bullish predictions fade

ChartNerd, who regularly analyzes cryptocurrency trends, posted on social media expressing surprise at the lack of $1,000 XRP projections in recent days. The analyst’s remarks emphasized a noticeable change in the tone of XRP commentary, with previously vocal proponents of extreme price targets appearing less present.

Instead of offering a new forecast, ChartNerd’s comment highlighted the current quiet period following months of lively debate about XRP’s potential to reach four-figure prices. This change reflects a broader trend in the online XRP community, which has often oscillated between periods of heightened speculation and skepticism.

I haven’t seen any $1,000 $XRP callers out and about the past few days. Feels quite eerie. Can you come back?

XRP, the native cryptocurrency of the Ripple payment network, has drawn widespread attention over the years due to frequent bullish price predictions on social media platforms.

Contrasting views emerge on XRP’s future targets

Responses to ChartNerd’s post revealed a spectrum of opinions on what constitutes a realistic price target for XRP. An account named Nighthawk echoed the observation and suggested that calls for $1,000 could resume if XRP first surpasses $1.52, a milestone that might reignite optimistic commentary.

They always disappear. But once we hit 1.52, someone will post we are BACK lol.

Meanwhile, commenter Takashi Eikichi took a more critical stance, pointing out that $1,000 predictions have circulated for years without any tangible progress toward that benchmark. Eikichi regarded these ongoing predictions as “nonstop yapping,” signaling skepticism towards repeated, unachieved targets.

Other voices, such as DocRich, advocated for more moderate expectations, arguing that XRP should first attempt to reach $4 before considering double-digit or four-figure price points. According to DocRich, expectations of a rapid surge to $1,000 remain highly unrealistic in the current market landscape.

Among the more optimistic but long-term perspectives, Secret Foundation predicted that XRP could theoretically approach the $1,000 mark within 10 to 15 years, but also set a nearer target of $1.60 by the end of the month.

Range of expectations underscores ongoing debate

The reactions to ChartNerd’s observations illustrate ongoing divisions within the XRP community regarding plausible price trajectories. Some market participants remain cautious, focusing on incremental achievements, while others continue to anticipate dramatic long-term gains.

Despite the recent lull in vocal $1,000 predictions, discussions around XRP’s valuation continue to draw engagement, suggesting that belief in significant upside persists for some investors.

For now, the XRP community remains split between skepticism, moderation, and optimism, as investors assess the likelihood of both near-term milestones and long-term targets.
