Resistance

Crypto analyst Bird (@Bird_XRPL) has identified a technical setup on XRP’s 4-hour chart that closely mirrors two previous patterns. Each prior instance preceded a significant price move. The current structure is forming near critical support levels, and Bird believes it is setting up for something interesting.
The chart covers the July through October period on Binance’s XRP/USD pair. Three descending resistance trendlines, marked in orange, appear at different stages across the chart.
Bird notes that “the first two were followed by explosive moves upwards after XRP found support.” The third trendline is now forming under similar conditions.

Look closely at this 4 hour chart.
Notice a pattern?
THREE descending resistance trendlines (orange).

Now we're seeing a THIRD potentially… pic.twitter.com/DUUhKygO9B

The chart shows a long-term ascending support trendline in white, rising from below $1 and extending through October. A major demand zone sits between $1.30 and $1.34, visible as a purple horizontal box on the chart. Resistance is concentrated in the $1.52 to $1.56 range, also marked with a purple zone near the top of the chart.
At the time of the post, XRP was trading at $1.3986. Price had pulled back from highs near $1.60 following the asset’s recent rally, and settled just above the demand zone. The ascending support trendline runs directly beneath current price action.

The Pattern Bird Is Tracking

Bird describes the setup clearly. “Three similar structures. One very interesting possibility.” Each of the first two descending orange trendlines resolved with a sharp move higher once price held support. The first produced the August rally where XRP surged over 50% in 65 hours. The second brought the more recent pump.
The current trendline shows overhead resistance while price compresses toward the demand zone and ascending trendline below.
Bird’s projected target, illustrated by a green arrow on the chart, points toward $2. He states, “If history rhymes, a breakout above that resistance could open the door towards $2.00.” That would represent a move of roughly 43% from the $1.3986 level at the time of posting.

Where XRP Stands Now

The setup requires a confirmed breakout above the $1.52 to $1.56 resistance zone to align with Bird’s thesis. Price must also hold the $1.30 to $1.34 demand zone as support. The ascending white trendline provides additional support underneath that zone.
Bird has not assigned a specific timeline to this move. He states he is “watching this VERY closely,” indicating the setup is still developing. The third descending trendline has not yet resolved.
