What Comes Next for Crypto ETF News?

Canary Capital has amended its SEC filing for the Canary Pepe ETF. This move is a sign that crypto winter is fading. The trust first registered in January, filed its initial S-1 on April 8, and this amendment is a full, updated prospectus.
REX Shares and Osprey Funds have also filed an updated staked application with the SEC, setting October 23, 2026 as the effective date for a group of altcoin funds.
This filing groups several tokens together rather than standing alone, which hints that issuers see real demand for staking products across the board, not just one coin. All eyes now turn to the Fed's rate decision in 18 days, which could shape the next leg for every fund on this list.
Expert Opinion: Analysts tracking SoSoValue data note that Bitcoin's inflow lead, paired with an 82.3% rate pause bet on the CME FedWatch tool, points to institutions parking cash in the fund seen as the safer bet within this group. Ethereum and Solana outflows, by contrast, look more like profit booking than panic, since both token prices still posted gains or only mild losses on the day. XRP's repeated zero flow days, analysts add, reflect fund level caution even as the token's own price keeps climbing, a gap worth watching into the Fed decision window.

Conclusion

Crypto ETF news today shows a market split down the middle. Bitcoin inflows rose, Ethereum and Solana kept bleeding, and XRP stayed silent. The Fed meeting in 18 days could decide which trend wins next across every fund on this board.
