Coinbase will stop trading Balancer (BAL) and Tensor (TNSR) next month. Can you still move your tokens? According to the notice, yes.
Coinbase suspends BAL and TNSR trading at about 2 PM ET on November 9, 2026. The <a href="https://x.com/CoinbaseMarkets/status/2108294971623100924?s=20" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase Markets post</a> is dated October 8.

Many readers call this a <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/coinbase-delisting-news-badger-storj-trading-suspension" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase delisting</a>. Coinbase's own wording is "suspend trading."
The notice gives no project-specific reason. It cites only recent reviews against its listing standards.
Prices are left out, because this report tracks the notice, not the market.

The time conversions are a calculation, not from Coinbase. The notice gives 32 days before the suspension.
BAL is the governance token of Balancer, a decentralized exchange protocol. TNSR is the governance token of Tensor, a Solana NFT marketplace. Governance tokens let holders vote on a project's decisions.

Limit-only mode means limit orders can be placed and canceled, and matches may occur. Per the announcement, you can:
<ul>
 <li>Keep holding BAL and TNSR on Coinbase</li>
 <li>Place or cancel limit orders until the suspension</li>
 <li>Plan any withdrawal using Coinbase's supported networks</li>
</ul>
According to <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/coinbase-delisting-news-iotex-iotx-trading-suspend" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Coinbase's notice</a>, funds will remain accessible and withdrawals will continue after the trading suspension. Holders should check the supported withdrawal network and any updated Coinbase instructions before transferring tokens.
Until Coinbase suspends BAL and TNSR trading, limit orders are the route the announcement describes. The notice covers Coinbase platforms only. It doesn't say whether trading could return later.
Coinbase has used similar wording before. Its<a href="https://status.exchange.coinbase.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">status page</a> shows IoTeX trading ending on September 23, 2026, and Badger DAO and Storj on September 28, 2026. Each announcement came about a month ahead.

Coinbase's October 6 announcement for Blast named a network shutdown. The BAL and TNSR notice names no cause. It also doesn't say whether Coinbase will keep supporting transfers, offer a conversion or plan a relisting.

Balancer's approved wind-down plan moves applicable pools to withdrawals-only operation on October 30. Certain v3 pools may remain live through November 30 if eligible partners request an extension by October 16. This is separate from Coinbase's stated reason for suspending BAL trading.
Balancer's<a href="https://forum.balancer.fi/t/bip-928-orderly-winddown-of-balancer-and-distribution-of-the-treasury/7107" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">governance update</a> says BIP-928 passed and BIP-929 did not. Treat any link to Coinbase's decision as unconfirmed.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-16px-the-bottom-line-span-span">The Bottom Line</h2>
Coinbase suspends BAL and TNSR trading on November 9, with withdrawals still open.
The reason isn't published. Treat <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-currency-news/balancer-labs-shutdown-dao-governance-proposals-bal-price" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Balancer's wind-down</a> as separate context until Coinbase says otherwise. Check Coinbase's announcement and your own plans before November 9.
