The weekly newsletter posted by the network's official X account on October 4 sets the tone for this Solana weekly update. Fiserv's digital asset platform went live with Roughrider Coin transfers across more than 90 banks and credit unions.
Shares of Powerus ($PUSA) drew more on-chain activity than on Nasdaq the day after listing. For readers following crypto news today, the common thread is real institutions producing real numbers.

Fiserv and OUSD share a theme, because both bring established finance names onto the same rails. That mix of bank infrastructure and stablecoin reserves gives this Solana weekly update its institutional flavor.

Revenue and Spot DEX Figures Show Where Activity Concentrates

Spot DEX activity remains the engine behind the strongest numbers in the Solana weekly update.

September app revenue: $180M, a nine-month high and 32% of revenue across chains.

Spot DEX volume: $197B in Q3, up 16.6% quarter over quarter, the fifth straight quarter in the lead.

Byreal: surpassed $5B in lifetime trading on its first anniversary.

x402 payments: weekly transactions hit an all-time high, with payment volume above all other networks combined.

The x402 record stands out because payments are a different use case from market speculation.

Tokenized Stock Trading Keeps Growing Across Raydium and Kamino

xStocks: recorded $1.8B in September trading volume on Raydium.

Raydium: crossed $6B in cumulative tokenized-stock trading volume.

Kamino: tokenized stocks pledged as collateral exceeded any other chain's by more than 3x.

Holders: tokenized-equity holders reached 1.2M, with 775K joining in September.

Trading, lending, and holder growth all point the same way. Collateral is the quieter signal in this Solana weekly update, since it shows tokenized shares being put to work, not just traded.

New Launches Cover Privacy, Perps, and Payment Tools

Fermi: on-chain perp DEX with verifiable first-in, first-out order matching.

Sirius Protocol: private spot and perps trading that keeps positions off the public feed.

Cloak: private payroll with spreadsheet uploads and one-click payouts.

Metaplex:MPL-3643, a standard for permissioned real-world assets with built-in compliance.

Jupiter: a Claynosaurz card with 2% cashback and full FX fee rebates through 2026.

Kled V3: collects real-world consumer datasets in under 72 hours.

Flint: announced its own on-chain perp DEX.

Sunrise: brought Coinbase's wrapped Cardano asset, cbADA, over via Chainlink CCIP.

Doma Protocol: opened Frontier through Loopscale, bringing tokenized domains on-chain.

Backpack Onchain: added v1 transaction support for more complex routes and DeFi interactions.

Privacy shows up in both trading and payroll, while MPL-3643 targets compliance. The Solana weekly update lists more than a dozen launches, but the ten above carry the clearest use cases.

The open question is whether price follows that activity. Treat this Solana weekly update as a snapshot, not a forecast.
