The Dogecoin price and Shiba Inu price enter October with a stronger base than they had a month ago. Over the past month, DOGE climbed 14%, reaching around $0.09495, and SHIB pumped 11% to about $0.000005782.

The latest session has cooled that advance, with Dogecoin down 0.66% and Shiba Inu down 0.88% over 24 hours. The DOGE price is facing rejection around a key resistance area, and SHIB lacks a fresh buying catalyst despite several ecosystem developments.

October will therefore depend on whether September’s recovery can hold through support levels and whether buyers can clear the resistance zones overhead.

News Pushing Dogecoin and Shiba Inu Prices

Dogecoin has a new development catalyst through the DogeOS public testnet, launched on September 30 by the team behind MyDoge. DogeOS is an application-layer rollup designed to bring EVM compatibility to Dogecoin, giving developers a route to build DeFi, gaming and trading applications using DOGE for transaction fees.

The network still relies on a permissioned sequencer and validators, so its present stage does not provide full trustlessness or decentralization. DOGE price only gained about 2.6% after the launch, trading near $0.096, showing that testnet activity has not yet created direct demand because test tokens are free.

Crypto ETF flows provide another part of the DOGE backdrop. Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $2.4 billion in one week, the strongest weekly figure since October 2025, with roughly $3 billion entering across a nine-day streak.

There is no documented record week for DOGE ETF inflows in the data provided, but future meme-coin ETF approvals and DOGE-linked derivatives could expand regulated access and liquidity. For the Dogecoin price, the key question is whether such flows persist instead of quickly reversing.

However, Shiba Inu has its own supply-side catalyst, with burn trackers reporting around 1 billion SHIB destroyed over 24 hours. That amount remains tiny compared with SHIB’s supply of hundreds of trillions, so the one-day reduction has limited direct impact on scarcity.

The more relevant factor is whether elevated burns continue alongside greater Shibarium and SHIB usage.

The technical picture gives the SHIB price a bigger October test. Analysis from October 1 places SHIB above a 2026 descending channel, with a weekly close above $0.00000592 needed for bullish continuation.

A move toward $0.00001000 is possible if that breakout holds, but a close below $0.00000496 would invalidate the setup. On September 30, 68.3 million SHIB were burned in 24 hours, up 154%, as price compressed between $0.00000569 support and $0.00000588 resistance.

What Is the Dogecoin Chart Showing?

We had a look at the chart, and the DOGE price is trading near $0.09420 on the latest 4-hour data, after climbing from roughly $0.078 in mid-September. DOGE reached above $0.10 before retreating into a consolidation range between roughly $0.092 and $0.099

Source: Tradingview.com.

That leaves $0.10 as the clearest psychological resistance, with $0.092 acting as nearby support.

Momentum is mixed. DOGE’s RSI is 47.47, close to the neutral 50 level, meaning neither buyers nor sellers have clear control. The Stochastic reading is lower at 26.38, giving sellers the short-term edge, but also leaving room for a rebound if buying returns.

A hold above $0.092 could put $0.099 and $0.10 back within reach. A break below $0.092 would expose the $0.084–$0.088 area, based on previous September consolidation.

What Is the Shiba Inu Chart Showing?

We had a look at the chart, where the price is near $0.00000574 after climbing from around $0.00000480 in mid-September. The token reached above $0.00000620 before retreating, leaving $0.00000588–$0.00000600 as the immediate resistance region.

Source: Tradingview.com

SHIB’s RSI is 47.62, also near neutral, but its Stochastic reading of 18.75 is considerably weaker. That places short-term momentum near oversold territory and creates room for a technical rebound if buyers defend the current range.

The key October levels are $0.00000569 and $0.00000592. Holding $0.00000569 keeps the breakout structure intact, whereas losing that area could expose $0.00000496.

Where Will Dogecoin and Shiba Inu Prices Go in October?

For Dogecoin, the bullish path would be a recovery above $0.099 and then $0.10, opening the door toward $0.105–$0.11.

The neutral path would keep the DOGE price between $0.092 and $0.10 through October. The bearish path would begin with a break below $0.092, putting $0.084–$0.088 in view.

For Shiba Inu, the bullish path requires a break above $0.00000592, which could open $0.00000620 and eventually $0.00001000. The neutral path keeps the SHIB price between $0.00000569 and $0.00000592. The bearish path would follow a break below $0.00000569, with $0.00000496 becoming the next major level.

SHIB price will depend heavily on whether it holds the $0.00000569 support and closes above $0.00000592. Shibarium activity, SHIB burns and the broader meme-coin market could also influence demand, but the current burn levels alone are too small to materially reduce SHIB’s huge supply.
