US spot crypto ETFs saw a sharp cooling in fresh buying on Monday, with total inflows falling to about $64.8 million—roughly 80% lower than Friday’s figure, according to SoSoValue.

Bitcoin led the day’s demand with $31.07 million in net inflows, while Ether pulled in $17.1 million. Solana added $12.7 million and XRP recorded $3.96 million, keeping all four major ETF categories in positive territory despite the slowdown.

Key takeaways

Monday’s combined inflows into US spot Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP ETFs totaled about $64.8 million, down roughly 80% from Friday.

Bitcoin ETFs gathered $31.07 million, followed by Ether at $17.1 million; Solana and XRP brought in $12.7 million and $3.96 million, respectively.

All four ETF categories remained net-positive on Monday, extending multi-day inflow streaks.

SoSoValue data shows the week’s earlier surge was far larger: more than $3.3 billion across the same categories during the prior week.

Zcash ETFs added about $35 million last week but shifted to a $8.1 million outflow on Monday, according to the reporting in the article.

Inflows cool after a blockbuster week

The drop in Monday’s numbers marks a clear deceleration after a strong stretch of demand. SoSoValue’s data indicates that the same four ETF categories pulled in roughly $330.8 million on Friday—still well below the prior week’s pace, but far above Monday’s total.

Looking at the broader comparison, SoSoValue and the article’s referenced coverage of earlier performance show that last week’s combined inflows exceeded $3.3 billion across Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP ETFs. Bitcoin led that earlier run with $2.39 billion, while Ether accounted for $690 million, Solana brought in $188 million, and XRP added $75.6 million.

For investors and traders watching ETF flows as a proxy for sustained spot demand, the key takeaway is not that interest disappeared, but that it became less aggressive after a high-output buying period. The direction remains positive, but the pace is no longer matching the standout week.

ETF categories extend inflow streaks despite smaller totals

While Monday’s inflows were significantly smaller than Friday’s, all four major categories continued to register net inflows—helping extend ongoing streaks.

Bitcoin ETFs: Monday extended Bitcoin’s net inflow streak to eight consecutive trading sessions. Over the streak, the funds have attracted roughly $3 billion, including a reported 2026 high of nearly $1 billion on Sept. 21.

Ether ETFs: Ether ETFs logged a seventh straight positive session. The day’s split shows BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust contributing $15.4 million out of Monday’s $17.1 million total, with 21Shares’ TETH adding $1.7 million, according to the cited Farside data in the article.

Solana ETFs: Solana’s funds extended their streak to seven consecutive trading sessions on Monday. The article attributes most of the day’s inflows to Bitwise’s BSOL.

XRP ETFs: XRP ETFs posted a fifth consecutive positive session. The article states that Canary Capital’s XRPC captured the entire $3.96 million inflow for the category, underscoring how concentrated contributions can be even when totals are modest.

In practical terms, these streaks suggest that ETF buying has not turned into net selling. Even as the market cools from a strong week, sustained day-by-day positivity can still influence how traders think about near-term demand and liquidity conditions—especially for participants who track flow momentum.

Secondary products: Zcash flips to outflows

The article also notes that not all spot crypto ETF categories moved in the same direction. Zcash ETFs reportedly added about $35 million on the previous week but posted an $8.1 million outflow on Monday.

That contrast highlights an important nuance for readers: even when headline demand is cooling across major tokens, smaller or less liquid ETF categories can behave differently—potentially reflecting narrower investor positioning, different buyer bases, or differing liquidity dynamics.

What to watch next as flow momentum adjusts

With Monday’s inflows materially lower than the prior week’s peak activity, the next few trading sessions should clarify whether the slowdown is a temporary digestion period or the start of a broader normalization. For market participants, the most immediate signals are whether Bitcoin and Ether maintain their multi-day streaks and whether any category begins transitioning from net inflows to net outflows.
