World Liberty Financial — WLFI, has posted a sharp rally while market sentiment remains surprisingly cautious. Trading volume has also climbed rapidly across spot and perpetual markets. CoinGlass recorded more than $196.23 million in combined volume. Meanwhile, WLFI gained over 18% within 24 hours. The move marks the token’s strongest positive performance so far. Rising volume suggests traders are paying closer attention to WLFI. However, negative sentiment raises questions about the rally’s durability.

Binance Volume Strengthens WLFI’s Rally

Binance appears to have played a major role behind WLFI’s latest move. CoinMarketCap data shows Binance handling roughly 15.74% of total WLFI volume. That figure covers activity across centralized and decentralized exchanges. Binance therefore remains an important source of market activity.Perpetual market data also shows stronger long positioning across major exchanges. Binance, MEXC, Hyperliquid, and other venues recorded notable long volume. More than 50% of trades favored long positions during the period.

Such positioning shows where leveraged traders currently see greater opportunity. The rise in long volume could provide additional support for WLFI. Traders are committing more capital toward a potential continuation. However, heavy long positioning can also increase liquidation risks. A sudden reversal could force leveraged buyers to close positions quickly. Funding data provides another important clue about current market expectations.

The Open Interest-Weighted Funding Rate reached 0.0085%. Positive funding shows stronger demand for long exposure. Traders therefore appear willing to pay for bullish leveraged positions. Open Interest has also expanded alongside the positive funding rate. Capital committed to WLFI derivatives rose roughly 12%. Open Interest eventually peaked around $245.10 million. Rising Open Interest often shows increased participation from leveraged traders.

Protocol Fees Add Another Bullish Signal

WLFI’s on-chain activity also provides support for the recent price advance. DeFiLlama data shows protocol fees reaching approximately $386,000 recently. That level matches a peak previously recorded on July 14. Higher fees suggest stronger activity across the protocol. Growing fee generation can strengthen the fundamental narrative surrounding WLFI. More usage can improve perceptions around network utility and adoption.

The biggest concern currently comes from sentiment indicators. Despite the sharp rally, overall sentiment has started moving lower. Some investors may therefore remain unconvinced by the recent price strength. Others could view the rapid advance as a temporary overvaluation. That divergence creates an interesting setup for WLFI traders. Price, volume, funding, and Open Interest currently point toward stronger bullish participation.

Sentiment, however, has not fully followed the move. If positive momentum continues, sentiment could eventually catch up with price. For now, rising volume remains one of the strongest signals behind WLFI’s rally. Binance activity, long positioning, and growing Open Interest reinforce the bullish case. Protocol fees also show increasing activity across the underlying ecosystem.
