<p>XRP is approaching a make-or-break moment, and traders might not have to wait long to see which way it goes. It’s trading at $1.36 at the time of writing, up 1.31% on the latest 8-hour candle, with buyers trying to push through $1.38.</p><p>Analyst Celal Kucuker thinks the next 3-hour candle could be the one to watch. He said if a candle opens above $1.38, it would break the current bull flag structure and could trigger a much <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/xrp-price-could-be-the-star-of-the-next-bull-run-analyst-says/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">bigger move for XRP</a>, the price has been consolidating after running from $0.98 to $1.70, so everyone’s waiting to see if buyers can finally force the breakout.</p><h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-the-xrp-price-is-running-into-a-major-resistance-zone-strong"><strong>The XRP Price Is Running Into a Major Resistance Zone</strong></h2><p>We had a look at the <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://captainaltcoin.com/ripple-xrp-price-prediction/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP</a> chart shared by Celal, and the setup is one of the cleanest among the big caps right now. Right now, <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/" rel="noopener noreferrer">XRP</a> is trading just below the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement at $1.38016, which also lines up with the upper trendline of the triangle.&nbsp;</p><p>If buyers force a breakout above $1.38, the next big resistance is $1.51281, the 0.786 Fibonacci level. Above that, traders will be eyeing the previous rally high near $1.70. The longer-term target is even higher. Based on the height of the triangle and the prior rally from $0.98 to $1.70, the measured move points toward approximately $2.10 if the breakout is confirmed.</p><h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="strong-new-developments-are-helping-the-xrp-story-strong"><strong>New Developments Are Helping the XRP Story</strong></h2><p>The technical picture is not the only thing traders are watching.
