Every XRP price veteran eventually admits the uncomfortable part: timing the entry mattered more than picking the coin. This week proved it all over again. Whales dragged millions of tokens off Binance, Ripple ran its stingiest escrow release on record, and the chart answered with a shrug, still pinned at $1.07 as August 5 closed. When supply news that strong cannot move a price, the price is telling you the easy compounding happened years ago. So the capital hunting multiples instead of decimals has been sliding down the curve toward growth that is still unpriced, and the position it keeps finding is Pepeto, already holding $10.41 million from wallets that ran this exact math first.

Whale Wallets Just Drained Binance to Cycle Lows

Start with what the big money actually did. Addresses holding at least one million XRP now drive 55.3% of everything leaving Binance, per Finbold, and the exchange supply ratio has sunk to 0.03, meaning less XRP sits ready to sell on the venue than at any point this cycle. Stack Ripple's August 1 escrow decision on top, 700 million returned to the vault with only 300 million released net, per 99Bitcoins, and you get a supply picture bulls used to dream about. The market's answer was a flat line from $1.04 to $1.08, the same cage it has rattled all month. When perfect mechanics meet a sleeping chart, the float was never the real problem. The missing catalyst is.

Where the Early Money Is Hiding in August 2026

Pepeto: The Entry Whales Found Before the Headlines Did

The flow out of stalled large caps needed somewhere to compound, and Pepeto became the destination because it offers what XRP structurally cannot: a starting line. A Pepe cofounder built it as a full trading venue rather than a ticker with a mascot, so PepetoSwap keeps volume inside the ecosystem where it feeds the token, the cross chain bridge invites holders over from any network without friction, and SolidProof has already stamped the contracts. A fixed float, a working exchange, an audit on record. None of that lives on a slide deck. It runs today, which is exactly why the money treats this as early rather than unproven.

That is exactly the setup that makes today's number temporary. The tape reads $0.0000001881, staking at 168% keeps convincing holders to vault their tokens, and every locked wallet subtracts from a fixed 420 trillion supply, so the squeeze tightens one buyer at a time while the expected Binance listing approaches. XRP holders spent August waiting on a catalyst somebody else controls. Buyers here wait on one already built into the structure, and they earn while they do it, because the distance between the presale print and the exchange print is where early always collects its pay. Every round that closes takes this price off the table for good. The current one is doing that while the majors argue with their moving averages.

XRP Price Prediction: September Holds the Earliest Real Trigger

For XRP itself, the honest read is patience. XRP sits near $1.07, under the 20 day at $1.099 with the 50 day just above $1.10, carrying a negative MACD and trading beneath all four of its key moving averages, so the downtrend still owns this tape. Buyers have defended $1.04 three times since July, and losing that shelf opens air down to $0.95, maybe $0.90. The CLARITY vote slipping to September removed the nearest catalyst, and spot ETF flows have gone almost silent this month. The bull case is real but conditional: with exchange supply at a 0.03 ratio, any genuine demand wave hits a market holding almost nothing for sale. Thin float loads the spring. Something still has to release it.

Conclusion

So the XRP price story closes where it began, with everything right except the date. The wallets that bought this coin for pennies and sat through the lawsuit years are wealthy now, and not one of them got there by out-analyzing anybody. They got there by arriving before the crowd did. XRP cannot sell that arrival twice, not at a $66 billion size, no matter how tight the float becomes. Pepeto still can, audited, live, and filling rounds ahead of its listing window, the same early conditions that built every fortune this market has ever handed out. Picking the right coin was never the hard part. Being early was, and early is still sitting on the table here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the XRP price stand in August 2026?

The XRP price is holding near one dollar seven. A daily close above one dollar ten would flip the trend.

Why are whales rotating into Pepeto while the XRP price stalls?

Because Pepeto still offers an entry below exchange pricing. Large caps stopped offering that years ago.

Does the XRP price range signal anything for traders?

Yes, because strong supply news no longer moves the chart. Money is rotating toward earlier positions instead.
