Strategy, the Michael Saylor-led company formerly known as MicroStrategy, made no Bitcoin purchases or sales last week, leaving its Bitcoin holdings unchanged while it added cash to its balance sheet.
The company disclosed no Bitcoin transaction activity for the reporting week ending July 13, 2026, in a filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The disclosure is available in the company's Form 8-K filing on EDGAR. Rather than acquiring Bitcoin, Strategy added roughly $467 million in cash during the week, according to reporting on the filing. Its total Bitcoin position was left untouched.
No trades: Strategy neither bought nor sold Bitcoin in the week ending July 13, 2026.

Cash added: The company reported adding about $467 million in cash over the same period.

Holdings unchanged: Its Bitcoin treasury total remained flat week over week.

Why a No-Trade Week Is Notable for Strategy

Strategy has built a reputation as one of the most active corporate Bitcoin buyers, a pattern that has led its cumulative purchases to outpace newly mined Bitcoin supply in prior periods. A week with no acquisitions breaks from that steady accumulation cadence. The company logs its acquisitions on its official purchases page, which reflects no new Bitcoin recorded for the reported week. The pause coincides with the addition of cash rather than a reduction in Bitcoin exposure.
An unchanged treasury position does not, on its own, signal a change in strategy. It shows the company held its Bitcoin steady during the week rather than trimming or expanding the position, and it accumulated cash instead.

What to Watch Next

The most direct signal to monitor is Strategy's next weekly disclosure, which will show whether the pause was a one-week gap or the start of a longer stretch without Bitcoin buying. The company's financing activity is worth tracking as well, since past capital raises, such as those tied to its STRC offering proceeds, have preceded fresh Bitcoin purchases.
Whether the roughly $467 million in cash is later deployed into Bitcoin remains a future possibility, not a confirmed plan. The filing confirms only what happened during the reported week: no buys, no sells, and an unchanged Bitcoin balance.
