The crypto market is surprised to see that a few altcoins are surging to hit higher price ranges in the final days of May. In detail, the altcoin NEAR pulls almost 100% price surge before facing resistance. With Bitcoin price trading in the $75,000 price range, as the price of ETH clings to the $2,000 price range, altcoin analysts hope to see more altcoins pull surprise pumps like NEAR’s recent surge.

According to CoinMarketCap analytics, the price of NEAR is currently trading in the $2.5 price range, meaning the asset is down by almost 8% in the last 24 hours. However, on the weekly and monthly price charts, the price of NEAR is up by over 52% and 84%, respectively. This means the asset has seen almost a 100% price surge from the $1.3 price range to the $2.9 price range.

As we can see from the post above, this expert says that NEAR’s 82% price pump call played out just as he expected. To highlight, this trader gave the buy signal between $1 and $1.30, calling it an accumulation zone from the bounce after $0.83. The expert then goes on to say that a dip down to targets between $1.18 and $0.90 will be additional re-accumulation zones and goes on to share long-term targets at $8, $17, and $30 - $50.

He also states that the price of NEAR falling to targets below $0.80 will be an invalidation of the chart and its bullish targets. Similarly, another expert goes on to explain the reason the price of NEAR began to fall after surging to the $2.9 price range, and this reason has to do with the price of NEAR approaching a crucial resistance zone, which the expert places between $3.2 and $3.5.

This means that the price of NEAR will likely rise again to test this resistance price zone and try to push past it. In the event that it does, the price of NEAR could enter a bullish scenario, and according to this expert, there is one bullish scenario that could play out, and also a bearish scenario that could arrive.

The bullish scenario is that NEAR will experience a successful breakout above $3.5, which could open the door toward the next major historical resistance near $8. In contrast, the bearish scenario is that the failure to reclaim resistance could lead to another period of consolidation. According to many bullish altcoin and NEAR enthusiasts, the price of NEAR could not only reclaim its previous ATH at $20, but also surge to hit new ATH prices between $30 and $50.
