Bybit has announced it will support the Celestia (TIA) v0.30.2 network upgrade, signaling that the exchange intends to handle the technical transition for users holding TIA on its platform.

What Bybit's Celestia (TIA) Upgrade Support Notice Covers

The announcement confirms that Bybit will support the Celestia network's upgrade to software version 0.30.2. Celestia is a modular blockchain network designed to provide data availability infrastructure for the broader crypto ecosystem, with TIA serving as its native token.

The research available for this story is limited. The notice has been attributed to a Telegram announcement channel, but specific operational details, including exact dates for any service interruptions, have not been independently verified at the time of writing.

Confirmed vs. Open Details

What is established: Bybit plans to support the v0.30.2 upgrade for Celestia (TIA). The exchange name, asset ticker, and version number are consistent across available sources.

What remains unconfirmed: suspension timing for deposits and withdrawals, the precise maintenance window, service resumption schedule, and whether any trading pairs will be affected during the transition. Users who previously navigated exchange maintenance during events like Binance's withdrawal lock feature rollout will recognize this pattern of temporary service adjustments.

How the v0.30.2 Upgrade Could Affect TIA Holders on Bybit

When exchanges support a network upgrade, they typically handle the node migration on behalf of users. This means TIA holders on Bybit should not need to take manual action with their tokens, though service windows may temporarily restrict movement.

The primary concern for users is whether deposits and withdrawals will be paused during the upgrade. Exchange support notices of this kind generally include a suspension period, followed by resumption once the new network version stabilizes.

What Users Should Check Before and During the Upgrade Window

TIA holders on Bybit should monitor the exchange's official announcements page for updates on deposit and withdrawal status. Any planned transfers to or from Bybit should account for the possibility of temporary suspension.

Users who need guaranteed access to their TIA during the upgrade window should consider whether self-custody is appropriate for their situation. The Celestia project's official channels may provide additional technical details about the upgrade's scope and timeline.

For Southeast Asian users in particular, where crypto exchange activity continues to grow alongside expanding fintech infrastructure across the Philippines and neighboring markets, monitoring official Bybit channels during upgrades is important to avoid failed transactions.

What to Watch After the Celestia Network Upgrade

Once the v0.30.2 upgrade executes on the Celestia network, the key signal is whether Bybit confirms successful completion and reopens full TIA services.

Post-Upgrade Signals Worth Monitoring

Readers should watch for three confirmations: an official completion notice from the Celestia team's blog, Bybit's service normalization announcement, and network stability metrics visible through block explorers.

Whether other major exchanges announce similar support for v0.30.2 will indicate the breadth of the upgrade's adoption. Users tracking network health can monitor on-chain activity through dedicated Celestia explorers like Celenium for block production continuity after the transition.

The broader trend of institutional holders increasing their crypto positions, as seen with conviction buyers lifting Bitcoin holdings 69% in Q1, underscores why exchange upgrade support matters for long-term holders across all networks.

Until Bybit issues a follow-up notice confirming service resumption, TIA holders on the platform should treat deposit and withdrawal availability as conditional.
