Digital asset investment funds recorded $414 million in net outflows last week — the first negative week in five — as escalating <a href="https://yellow.com/research/how-iran-news-crashed-crypto-market" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Iran conflict fears</a> and a shift in <a href="https://yellow.com/news/why-fed-not-cutting-rates-2026" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Federal Reserve rate expectations</a> rattled investor sentiment.

According to a new report from CoinShares, the outflows <a href="https://researchblog.coinshares.com/volume-279-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-bede9de1f383" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">pushed</a> total assets under management across digital asset products down to $129 billion, a level not seen since early February.
That figure is broadly comparable to where markets stood in April 2025, when the initial phase of <a href="https://yellow.com/news/supreme-court-about-to-execute-trumps-tariff-empire-the-75-polymarket-death-sentence-crypto-cant-ignore" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Trump administration tariffs first hit</a>.
Regionally, the United States accounted for the vast majority of withdrawals at $445 million. Switzerland saw minor outflows of $4 million. Germany and Canada moved in the opposite direction, posting inflows of $21.2 million and $15.9 million as investors in both countries treated the dip as a buying opportunity.
June FOMC interest rate expectations have now flipped from cuts to hikes. That shift played a central role in the selloff.

Ethereum<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/eth" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">(ETH)</a> bore the heaviest losses, shedding $222 million in a single week. The move pushed ETH's year-to-date flows into net negative territory at $273 million — the worst performance of any digital asset this year.

CoinShares attributed the selling pressure in part to news surrounding the <a href="https://yellow.com/news/why-banks-need-clarity-act-more-than-crypto-does" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CLARITY Act</a>.

Bitcoin<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/btc" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">(BTC)</a> posted $194 million in outflows but still holds a net inflow position of $964 million for the year. Short-Bitcoin products drew an additional $4 million.
Solana<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/sol" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">(SOL)</a> lost $12.3 million, while XRP<a href="https://yellow.com/asset/xrp" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">(XRP)</a> stood out as one of the few assets attracting capital, pulling in $15.8 million.
