MyPrize has integrated the Avalanche blockchain into its payment and settlement infrastructure, allowing prizes on its social casino platform to be redeemed and tracked directly onchain. The move shifts core settlement functions from off-chain systems to blockchain-based processing, while keeping existing fiat payment options in place.
For users, this means faster redemptions, onchain records of outcomes, and the option to receive prizes in USDC without changing how they play.

What is MyPrize and How does its Platform Work?

MyPrize is a Miami-based social casino that combines free-to-play casino-style games with livestreamed creator content. Players do not gamble real money on outcomes in the traditional sense. Instead, they participate in games like slots, roulette, and blackjack inside livestream rooms hosted by creators, where prizes are distributed based on gameplay and platform rules.
The platform focuses on shared play. Viewers can opt in to play alongside streamers and other users in real time. This structure places heavy demands on payment systems because outcomes, prize pools, and redemptions often involve many users at once.
Earlier this year, MyPrize raised $21 million and reported more than $1.15 billion in total player winnings processed to date.

Why Did MyPrize Integrate Avalanche?

The Avalanche integration expands MyPrize’s existing fiat-based payment rails rather than replacing them. Users can still use Apple Pay, credit cards, and bank transfers. The difference is that prize redemptions, play resolution, and outcome tracking are now processed natively on Avalanche.
This shift addresses three practical issues:

Settlement speed: Blockchain-based finality allows prizes to be redeemed in seconds rather than waiting on batch processing.

Transparency: Recording outcomes onchain provides a verifiable record of play resolution.

Scale: Consumer platforms with live gameplay need to handle high transaction volumes without delays.

Avalanche was selected because of its low latency and ability to finalize transactions quickly at scale. According to MyPrize, all prize redemptions can now be settled onchain using USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin.

How Do Onchain Prize Redemptions Work on MyPrize?

When a player redeems a prize on MyPrize, the process no longer relies on off-chain accounting followed by delayed settlement. Instead, Avalanche processes the transaction directly.
The redemption flow works as follows:

A player completes gameplay inside a livestream room.

The outcome and prize allocation are resolved by the platform.

The result is recorded on Avalanche.

The prize is redeemed either in USDC onchain or through existing fiat methods.

Funds settle with near-instant finality.

USDC is used because it removes price volatility. One USDC is designed to equal one US dollar and is issued by Circle through regulated entities. This keeps prize values stable and predictable for players.
Importantly, users do not need to interact with blockchain tools unless they choose to. For players who want onchain access, MyPrize supports Core Wallet, Avalanche’s native wallet, through a dedicated product flow.

How Does This Affect Trust and Compliance?

MyPrize holds SOC 2 Type 1 certification, which signals adherence to security and operational standards. Moving settlement onchain does not remove compliance requirements, but it adds transparency to transaction records.
Onchain data allows internal teams, auditors, and partners to verify outcomes without relying solely on internal logs. This can reduce disputes and simplify reconciliation at scale.
Because USDC is used for onchain payouts, price volatility risks are minimized. This is especially important for consumer platforms where users expect stable prize values.

What Changes for Users and Creators?

From a user perspective, the experience stays familiar. Games load the same way, livestreams function as before, and prizes appear without extra steps. The main difference is in how quickly and transparently payouts are processed.
For creators, the integration supports shared prize pools and real-time settlements during live sessions. This is especially relevant in rooms where hundreds of viewers participate at once.
Key changes include:

Instant onchain prize redemptions using USDC.

Verifiable outcome tracking recorded on Avalanche.

Continued access to fiat payouts for users who prefer traditional methods.

Optional use of Avalanche wallets without mandatory onboarding.

MyPrize says the goal is to make blockchain invisible to users who do not want to engage with it, while still offering direct access for those who do.

How Avalanche Supports Consumer-scale Gaming

In gaming and social platforms, settlement delays can cause confusion or mistrust, especially when prizes are shared among many players. Avalanche’s consensus mechanism allows MyPrize to process large volumes of small transactions without congestion.
John Nahas, Chief Business Officer at Ava Labs, said MyPrize fits Avalanche’s broader focus on gaming and consumer payments. From the network’s perspective, social casinos generate consistent transaction activity rather than short bursts, which aligns with Avalanche’s design goals.

What Does This Say About Blockchain as Infrastructure?

The MyPrize integration follows a broader pattern where blockchain is used quietly as backend infrastructure rather than as a headline feature. Similar approaches are appearing in payments and banking.
Recent examples include:

Union Square Holiday Market in New York City: Select vendors now accept payments through an app that settles transactions in USDC on Avalanche. Shoppers often do not notice the difference.

Kasikornbank in Thailand: KBank is working with StraitsX and Avalanche to enable real-time cross-border payments between Thailand and Singapore using stablecoins.

In both cases, blockchain handles settlement while the user experience remains familiar. MyPrize applies the same idea to social gaming.

What is MyPrize Planning Next on Avalanche?

Looking toward 2026, MyPrize is exploring additional integrations within the Avalanche ecosystem. The company has said it plans to allow developers to build and interact with games directly on the MyPrize platform.
This would place MyPrize closer to a platform model, where third-party developers and creators contribute content while MyPrize provides settlement, distribution, and community infrastructure.
No specific products or timelines have been confirmed, but the focus remains on scaling existing systems rather than introducing speculative features.

Conclusion

MyPrize’s integration with Avalanche moves the platform’s settlement layer onchain without changing how users play. Prize redemptions, outcome tracking, and play resolution are now recorded directly on Avalanche, using USDC for stable payouts and supporting consumer-scale transaction volumes. Fiat payment options remain in place, and blockchain operates in the background as infrastructure. The result is faster settlement, clearer records, and a system designed to support high-volume social gaming at scale.
