At the Solana Breakpoint Conference, Bitwise Co-founder Matt Hougan highlighted how Solana's application ecosystem maximizes performance, emphasizing concerns about ecosystem stability with increasing SOL in a staking ETF/trust.

The expanded ETF could stabilize Solana's network, enhancing reliability and capacity for ongoing innovation without destabilizing the market structure, influencing both SOL's value and market dynamics.

Matt Hougan, Bitwise Co-founder, discussed the importance of node performance in Solana networks at the Solana Breakpoint Conference. Hougan explained that Solana apps exploit the last 1% of performance, setting a high bar for scalability and liquidity.

As more SOL is locked in staking, Hougan expressed concern that the ecosystem must handle this scaling without disrupting its structure. A balanced approach seeks to make the network more stable and innovative.
