XRP continues to navigate a mixed market landscape as 2025 draws to a close. The token has held a steady range for months, yet traders still show strong conviction in its ability to finish the year in positive territory. That conviction grew this week after a new reading from the prediction platform Kalshi.
Whale Insider, a crypto news account on X, shared Kalshi’s latest reading on XRP. The chart showed that the probability of the token posting a positive return this year has climbed to 69%.
The post highlighted this rise by noting that the odds had just moved higher. Traders on Kalshi now assign XRP its highest confidence level in weeks.

Market Sentiment Strengthens

The chart shows a series of sharp intraday swings before forming a more stable set of moves near the top of the range. The market has not rewarded recent ETF launches with a strong price break, but it has shown consistent support. XRP opened 2025 at $2.08. It trades near $2.2 today.
This small increase is significant because it signals stability during a volatile period in the broader cryptocurrency sector. Many traders see this as evidence of steady demand. It also strengthens the case for a positive finish to the year, despite the momentum not matching the enthusiasm seen in earlier ETF news.

Mixed Signals Across Prediction Markets

The Kalshi reading contrasts with other prediction platforms. Polymarket recently dropped the probability of XRP reaching $3.2 again this year to 15%. That reduction created tension between two sets of expectations. Kalshi traders focus on XRP delivering a positive return, while Polymarket participants don’t expect a larger breakout in 2025.

The difference reflects the range-bound market conditions. XRP has not broken down despite pressure, but it has not captured the kind of impulse move that would shift it toward new highs. The ETF products have also not produced their expected lift.
Still, the Kalshi data shows that traders see value in XRP’s present structure. They see a token holding a steady price floor and a community that continues to anticipate improvement.

Community Confidence Persists

Whale Insider called attention to the rising odds by citing the 69% figure. The post framed it as a sign that market participants still have faith in the asset. The community views the current price near $2.2 as a base that can support further gains. While the anticipated surge has not arrived, stability has formed a clearer foundation, and market participants expect a rapid surge soon.
