Altcoin spot ETFs for XRP, Solana, Dogecoin, and Litecoin are nearing SEC approval, with NYSE set to launch Grayscale's XRP and Dogecoin ETFs on November 24, 2025.
These ETF approvals could significantly influence crypto markets by driving institutional investment and potentially boosting altcoin prices, mirroring the effects seen with Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF introductions.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is close to approving spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for XRP, Solana, Dogecoin, and Litecoin. Grayscale's ETFs for XRP and Dogecoin, launching in November 2025, signal a growing acceptance of altcoin investment options.
Prominent analysts from Bloomberg indicate a high probability of approval, attributing this confidence to SEC engagement. James Seyffart, an ETF Analyst at Bloomberg, emphasizes the shift as inevitable, with significant institutional interest anticipated in these digital assets.

Industry leaders expect substantial inflows into XRP ETFs, potentially reaching $5 billion in the initial month alone. Institutional managers show enthusiasm, viewing the development as a catalyst for broader cryptocurrency adoption and institutional involvement. “We’re raising our odds for the vast majority of the spot crypto ETF filings to 90% or higher. Engagement from the SEC is a very positive sign,” said Eric Balchunas, Senior ETF Analyst at Bloomberg.

Past fund launches like Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs resulted in market rallies, highlighting their influence in bridging traditional finance and digital assets. Initial asset management inflows reached billions, a scenario expected to repeat with altcoins.
