1) iShares Bitcoin ETF suffers record outflow — $1.6B pulled in 18 days
• What happened: The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), one of the largest U.S. bitcoin ETFs, saw $1.6 billion in net outflows from Oct 30 to Nov 17, including a daily record of $447M.
• Why it matters: Massive ETF outflows during weak market conditions are a red-flag. It suggests that institutional appetite for BTC may be cooling, not just trading temporarily — this could pressure bitcoin’s near-term demand.

2) Industry scramble: Bitwise launches first U.S. spot Solana ETF
• What happened: Bitwise Asset Management launched the U.S.’s first spot Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) on NYSE in late Oct, raising $420M in its first week.
• Why it matters: This is a big step for altcoin ETFs. By launching a staking-based ETF for SOL, Bitwise is opening a new path for capital to flow into non-BTC/ETH tokens. Competitors may rush to follow — could be a structural shift.

3) Hong Kong loosens crypto rules, kicks off tokenisation pilot
• What happened: Hong Kong regulators are easing crypto trading regulations and launching a tokenisation pilot program to attract more digital-asset firms to the city.
• Why it matters: Hong Kong may become a more important hub for tokenised finance and crypto capital. For projects and investors, this could mean better access to Asian liquidity and innovation-friendly regulation — but also more competition.

4) Bitcoin supply tightens — 95% of BTC already mined, per latest report
• What happened: A report from KuCoin states that 95% of all Bitcoin has now been mined and is in circulation, leaving only a small portion left to issue.
• Why it matters: The shrinking issuance pool could drive scarcity over time. As less BTC is issued, upward pressure may build, especially if demand returns. For long-term holders, this intensifies the “digital gold” narrative.
