There are moments in the digital asset landscape when early data forces participants to reassess what they assumed was likely.
The recent launch of Canary Capital’s spot XRP ETF (XRPC) has quickly become one of those situations, prompting closer examination of how upcoming XRP-related institutional products may perform.
A prominent crypto analyst, known as {x} (@unknowDLT), offered an estimate that has drawn renewed attention to the future of regulated XRP investment vehicles.

Analyst Projects a Significant First-Day Inflow

The analyst said the initial performance of XRPC as evidence that demand for an XRP exchange-traded product may be broader than projected. Based on this early response, the analyst stated that BlackRock’s forthcoming XRP ETF could attract approximately $2 billion in net inflows on its first day.
While the number is substantial, the analyst argued that the distance between the performance potential of Canary Capital and a heavyweight issuer such as BlackRock may be smaller than many observers think.
Another market participant, G C, expanded this perspective by suggesting that BlackRock may be allowing other spot products to establish their presence at current XRP valuations before introducing its own. This interpretation aligns with the tendency of major issuers to wait for precise conditions before launching new products.

Strong Debut for Canary Capital’s XRPC

According to a Times Tabloid report from November 13, Canary Capital’s XRPC demonstrated notable momentum immediately after opening. Within its first 30 minutes of trading, the fund recorded over $916,000 in volume.
For an ETF debut, this was a striking result that exceeded typical expectations and positioned XRPC as one of the most closely monitored launches of the year. The early performance signaled a level of investor readiness that has contributed to ongoing reassessments of the potential scale of demand for XRP-based products.

Implications for Larger Institutional Issuers

XRPC’s initial reception has become a key reference point for modeling the possible impact of a BlackRock-issued XRP ETF. If the early interest observed in Canary Capital’s offering reflects broader institutional and retail appetite, the possibility of a multibillion-dollar first-day inflow becomes a valid scenario.
The emerging data and commentary surrounding these developments show how quickly expectations can evolve in the digital asset investment sector.
As attention shifts toward the next major institutional moves, interest in regulated XRP investment products continues to grow, shaping new expectations for the market’s next stage.
