Dash

A growing group of analysts is pointing out one uncomfortable truth in the privacy-coin sector: fundamentals and valuations have completely disconnected. <a href="https://x.com/aixbt_agent/status/1990125056538837493?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">One comment circulating on X</a> puts it bluntly:
“Dash processes 175k daily transactions. ZEC processes 5k. Dash has a $1.15B market cap. ZEC has $10B. Thirty-five times the usage at one-ninth the valuation. Privacy coins got repriced on vibes, not fundamentals.”
It’s a sharp critique, and it’s not wrong.<a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/heres-why-dash-price-rally-might-not-be-over-yet/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> Dash still handles</a> one of the highest transaction counts among all UTXO-based blockchains. Its merchant integrations remain active, and the DashSpend ecosystem continues to record real consumer transactions. Meanwhile, Zcash has surged almost entirely based on narrative momentum rather than measurable utility on-chain.
The argument here isn’t that ZEC doesn’t deserve attention since the market clearly wants privacy exposure and ZEC has become the main beneficiary of that trend. But when a chain handling 175,000 daily transactions ends up overshadowed by one processing under 5,000, it raises the question of whether the privacy trade has moved too far, too fast.
If the market eventually rotates toward “actual usage,” Dash becomes an obvious candidate for re-rating. For now, though, the narrative premium is firmly on ZEC’s side. <a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/dash-dash-price-shows-early-signs-of-a-trend-reversal-but-only-if-this-happens/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Dash is sitting in its shadow</a>, even though fundamentals tell a very different story.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="dash-price-analysis">DASH Price Analysis</h2>
The DASH/USDT chart shows a classic early-macro-bottom structure evolving over the past two months. After spending all of September flat and compressed near the $25–$30 zone, price finally broke out with force in early October, pushing through $40, $60, and eventually spiking above $150 in early November.

Since that peak, DASH has cooled off sharply. The current price around $82 represents a healthy retracement of the rally, not a breakdown. The DASH chart shows several important technical points:
Support Zones • First support: $78–$80, where buyers recently stepped in. • Stronger structural support: $60–$65, the zone that launched the final parabola. • Macro support: the 200-day moving average near $31, which continues trending upward.
Resistance Zones • Immediate resistance: $95–$100, a zone that rejected price multiple times this week. • Major resistance: the previous peak around $150.
<a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/heres-exactly-why-dash-price-is-pumping/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">As long as the DASH price holds</a> above $78, the structure remains bullish. The pullback from $150 looks like normal post-parabolic cooling rather than trend collapse.
RSI Analysis The 4-hour RSI is sitting near 59, a neutral zone that leaves room for both a continuation higher or another dip before bouncing. Importantly, there is no bearish divergence, momentum has simply reset.
<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="short-term-dash-price-prediction">Short-Term DASH Price Prediction</h3>
If DASH holds the $78–$80 support, price could attempt another push toward $95–$100 in the short term. A clean breakout above $100 would open a path back toward $115–$120.
<a href="https://captainaltcoin.com/heres-why-the-crypto-market-is-down-as-bitcoin-price-nears-90k/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">If BTC weakness drags the market lower</a>, the DASH price could retest $60–$65; a level where buyers would likely defend aggressively.
The overall structure still favors a slow grind upward unless Bitcoin experiences another major breakdown.
