A significant topic at Swell 2025 will be the anticipated approval of a batch of XRP-based Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), including proposals from major players like Bitwise and Grayscale.
With institutional interest in crypto assets growing, Ripple’s involvement in the ETF market is poised to take center stage. Experts will discuss the integration of XRP into these ETFs, which could attract substantial institutional capital.
XRP Price Movements: What the Past Tells Us

Historically, Ripple’s Swell conferences have seen significant price fluctuations for XRP. In the past, XRP has shown notable price gains in the lead-up to the event, fueled by announcements and optimism surrounding Ripple’s innovations. Swell 2023, for example, saw XRP prices climb by 31% in just three weeks, reaching a peak of $0.6424 before experiencing post-event profit-taking.
The same bullish momentum was evident in 2024. Ahead of the event, XRP prices surged from $1.3858 to $2.52, signaling strong market confidence. However, history suggests a possible price correction post-event, with XRP’s price dropping 35% after a similar rally last year.
As Ripple continues to push for new technological advancements, the market will be watching closely to see if XRP can maintain its current momentum or experience the usual post-event pullback.
The Swell 2025 conference is undoubtedly one of the most significant events in Ripple’s journey. With growing partnerships, innovative developments, and potential regulatory updates on the horizon, today’s events could shape the future of Ripple and its token, XRP.
Investors and industry experts alike will be closely monitoring how Ripple’s announcements unfold and whether XRP can capitalize on the momentum in the coming weeks.
