Xone Chain today announced an official clarification in response to online speculation suggesting a link between Xone and Huione. The company self proclaimed that no organizational, financial, or operational relationship exists between Xone and Huione or any organization associated with money laundering or illicit activity.
The company states that Independent analysts and public data reviewers have verified that Xone operates as a completely independent Layer-1 blockchain network, with no overlap in governance, codebase, or funding with any entity related to Huione.
<h3 id="strong-independent-development-and-transparent-operations-strong">Independent Development and Transparent Operations</h3>
Xone Chain operates as a fully independent blockchain infrastructure project, purpose-built to advance decentralized technology while prioritizing compliance, transparency, and scalability.
Its foundation and governance structure emphasize open participation, verifiable on-chain processes, and public documentation. These hallmarks have <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2025/09/24/3155645/0/en/Xone-Chain-Launches-Mainnet-and-Global-Compliance-Program-While-Delivering-Cutting-Edge-Blockchain-Infrastructure-for-Institutional-Adoption.html" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">positioned Xone among the few Layer-1 networks</a> maintaining both technical sophistication and regulatory integrity.
In contrast, Huione operates in unrelated domains. There are no shared developers, governance mechanisms, or financial affiliations between Xone and Huione. Code repositories, compliance bulletins, and network governance records — all publicly accessible — verify Xone’s autonomous development and lawful standing.
<h3 id="strong-governance-structure-and-ecosystem-integrity-strong">Governance Structure and Ecosystem Integrity</h3>
Xone’s governance model blends decentralized community participation with structured oversight, ensuring balanced and transparent decision-making.
Validators, contributors, and developers interact via verifiable smart contracts and on-chain proposal systems, preventing unauthorized control or misrepresentation. Each governance cycle and funding activity is visible on-chain, reinforcing the project’s independence from any external organization.
This structure guarantees that no governance, funding, or operational data connects Xone to Huione — a fact verifiable through blockchain explorers and public governance logs.
<h3 id="strong-legal-standing-and-compliance-framework-strong">Legal Standing and Compliance Framework</h3>
Xone’s operational entity, XONE Network Ltd., is legally incorporated in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), with Local Operating Entities (LOEs) maintaining compliance across global jurisdictions.
Its published Compliance Framework defines strict boundaries — including jurisdictional restrictions, brand-use policies, and disclosure principles. These measures are designed to protect participants, promote transparency, and prevent unauthorized use of Xone’s brand or network infrastructure.
This commitment to regulatory integrity stands in direct contrast to the unverified claims circulating online, which lack credible sourcing or documentation.
<h3 id="strong-technological-infrastructure-and-ecosystem-focus-strong">Technological Infrastructure and Ecosystem Focus</h3>
Xone’s visibility and rapid growth have been driven by its cutting-edge hybrid architecture, which merges Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility with Cosmos SDK modularity.
The network offers near-instant finality, privacy-preserving layers (including zk-SNARKs and stealth addresses), and a unified account model enabling seamless interoperability.
Its Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) mechanism ensures high performance and decentralized security — all verifiable through open repositories and blockchain data.
As the project continues to attract developers and institutional participants, analysts believe its success has inadvertently fueled confusion among those unfamiliar with its origins and governance.
<h3 id="strong-a-call-for-informed-dialogue-strong">A Call for Informed Dialogue</h3>
As misinformation spreads across decentralized communities, maintaining accuracy is essential. Xone encourages media professionals, analysts, and community members to rely on official documentation, verified on-chain data, and publicly disclosed entities when evaluating blockchain projects.
The company reaffirms its commitment to transparency, lawful operation, and technological innovation, and continues to operate as a fully independent Layer-1 blockchain delivering scalable, regulation-ready infrastructure for global adoption.
