A recent post from crypto proponent JackTheRippler (@RippleXrpie) has renewed attention to a March 2025 message from President Donald Trump, in which he declared that the U.S. would establish a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP.
His message, which originally marked a turning point in Washington’s approach to digital assets, continues to resonate with the XRP community as it marked a turning point for the perception of digital assets in the U.S.
Trump’s post stated that the reserve would help “elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration.” He explained that his Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward with the reserve, naming “XRP, SOL, and ADA” as part of the initiative.
At the time, the announcement was seen as a significant validation of XRP’s role in the digital asset space and a clear signal of government-level support for its utility.

Since Trump’s return to office, XRP has benefited from a series of policy moves that have strengthened the digital asset market in the U.S. His administration’s stance has helped restore confidence among institutional investors and positioned XRP as a key player in the evolving digital economy.
Trump’s administration ended the SEC’s war on crypto, and market optimism surrounding his pro-crypto stance and policies contributed to XRP achieving a record price this year, driven in part by speculation that the asset remains an important element of the government’s digital strategy.

The original executive order, which established a framework for a national crypto reserve, emphasized that the U.S. would safeguard key digital assets rather than sell them. While the Bitcoin reserve became the first component to be formalized, the creation of the broader Digital Asset Stockpile was seen as a foundation for integrating other cryptocurrencies such as XRP.

Even though official documentation later focused on Bitcoin as the primary reserve asset, Trump’s public endorsement of XRP continues to hold symbolic and strategic weight. His post is frequently referenced by analysts who view it as an early indicator of how XRP could play a long-term role in U.S. digital asset policy.
JackTheRippler’s recent post brought that vision back into focus, reminding the community of the moment when Trump named XRP among the assets shaping the U.S.’s strategic financial future.
