 <p><strong>Takeaways:</strong></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Ripple acquires GTreasury in another move to expand its treasury influence.</li>
  <li>This is the third takeover Ripple has executed this year alone.</li>
  <li>$XRP joins the likes of $BEST and $HYPER as the best altcoins to buy right now.</li>
 </ul>
</div>
<p>Ripple goes big on crypto treasuries, announcing the acquisition of treasury management platform GTreasury for a cool $1B.</p>
<p>Ripple aims to penetrate the traditionally slow-moving, multi-trillion dollar corporate treasury sector. The end goal? Integrating blockchain-based capabilities into liquidity and capital management.</p>
<p><a href="https://x.com/bgarlinghouse/status/1978854410575814956?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The acquisition of GTreasury</a> gives Ripple access to a mature treasury systems provider with deep compliance, risk, and liquidity management expertise – and through it, access to a $120T global market.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" src="https://coindoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/brad-garlinghouse-ceo-ripple-2025-10-17.png" alt="Brad Garlinghouse announces GTreasury purchase." width="620" height="617"></p>
<p>Ripple intends to modernize corporate liquidity operations by combining its real-time payments infrastructure with GTreasury’s treasury functions. Given Ripple’s current success with $XRP, the goals it wants to achieve make sense:</p>
<ul>
 <li>24/7 global, cross-border payments and liquidity shifts</li>
 <li>Unlocking liquidity tied in traditional treasury operations</li>
 <li>Faster capital flows and reduced friction in corporate cash management</li>
</ul>
<p>And of course, Ripple could expand its product offering and target institutional clients directly.</p>
<p>The GTreasury deal is Ripple’s third major acquisition within this year, following its purchases of <a href="https://ripple.com/ripple-press/ripple-acquires-prime-broker-hidden-road/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Hidden Road</a> (a prime broker) and <a href="https://ripple.com/ripple-press/ripple-to-acquire-rail-for-200m-expanding-leadership-in-stablecoin-payments/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Rail</a> (a stablecoin platform). With them, Ripple’s ambition to build a full-stack bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) and blockchain infrastructure is on full display.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20251016697362/en/Ripple-Breaks-Into-Corporate-Treasury-With-%241B-GTreasury-Acquisition" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">By acquiring GTreasury</a>, Ripple gets access to compliance, risk, and treasury module capabilities. Alongside past acquisitions (e.g. <a href="https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-takes-on-the-crypto-custody-market-with-metaco/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Metaco</a>, <a href="https://blockworks.co/news/ripple-fortress-trust-acquisition" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Fortress Trus</a>t, Algrim, Standard Custody &amp; Trust), Ripple is building a regulated, end-to-end stack for institutional clients – a move that <a href="https://x.com/JohnEDeaton1/status/1978864736935526413" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">hasn’t gone unnoticed</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" src="https://coindoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/analysis-of-ripple-moves-2025-10-17.png" alt="Analysis of Ripple's moves." width="618" height="813"></p>
<p>The move also supports its <a href="https://ripple.com/insights/the-next-phase-of-institutional-de-fi-on-xrpl/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRPL DeFi and tokenization roadmap</a>, as it ramps up stablecoin use, on-chain liquidity, and tokenized asset finance.</p>
<p>Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse framed the deal as a fusion of blockchain’s efficiency with GTreasury’s compliance rigor, and the potential disruption of a relatively-untouched market sector.</p>
<p>Add in Ripple’s stated plans for further development, and it’s easy to see how Ripple GTreasury buy benefits altcoins far beyond $XRP. In addition to Ripple’s flagship crypto, here are two more altcoins worth watching.</p>
<div style="background-color: #fcf7e4!important; border-radius: 10px; margin: 0.5em; padding: 1em; color: #444;">
 This sets up Ripple’s flagship crypto, $XRP, and the likes&nbsp;<a href="https://froven.care/b_hyperENipp?referrer=best-altcoins-to-buy-as-ripple-buys-gtreasury" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER)</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://froven.care/b_besttokenENipp?referrer=best-altcoins-to-buy-as-ripple-buys-gtreasury" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Best Wallet Token ($BEST)</a> for major momentum, making them the best altcoins to buy right now.

<h2 id="bitcoin-hyper-hyper-game-changing-layer-2-to-unlock-fast-cheap-btc-payments">Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) – Game-Changing Layer-2 to Unlock Fast, Cheap $BTC Payments</h2>
<p><a href="https://froven.care/b_hyperENipp?referrer=best-altcoins-to-buy-as-ripple-buys-gtreasury" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER)</a> enters the competition for crypto’s next big expansion, bringing fast, cheap Bitcoin transactions. By leveraging a Bitcoin Canonical Bridge to the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), Hyper plans to upgrade <a href="https://chainspect.app/chain/bitcoin" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin’s seven transactions per second (TPS) max</a> to Solana’s significantly more impressive 65K TPS.</p>
<div style="background-color: #fcf7e4!important; border-radius: 10px; margin: 0.5em; padding: 1em; color: #444;">
 The SVM will also lower transaction fees, which often spike on Bitcoin’s original layer and make micro-transactions untenable.
</div>
<p>At the same time, Bitcoin Hyper will reserves <a href="https://www.investopedia.com/what-are-layer-1-and-layer-2-blockchain-scaling-solutions-7104877" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">final settlement for Bitcoin’s Layer-1</a>, preserving Bitcoin’s security and stability. The Bitcoin Hyper Layer-2 will provide a powerful, flexible scaling solution that opens the door to DeFi, native staking, and more with $BTC.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" src="https://coindoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/bitcoin-hyper-architecture-2025-10-17.png" alt="Bitcoin Hyper's architecture." width="1182" height="794"></p>
<p>The promise of that solution has drawn investors to the Bitcoin Hyper presale in droves. The presale has currently raised nearly $24M, with <a href="https://etherscan.io/tx/0xa2c30610c843dad2d9aaa6f743fc252d5eff3b04b293c11589e98713c8ae1318" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">whale buys pouring hundreds of thousands</a> into the project.</p>

<h2 id="xrp-xrp-ripple-s-flagship-reaches-137b-market-cap">XRP ($XRP) – Ripple’s Flagship Reaches $137B Market Cap</h2>
<p><a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">XRP ($XRP)</a> is the fifth-largest crypto by <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">market cap</a>, and Ripple’s latest move looks set to expand that figure even more. $XRP is already up 315% over the past year.</p>
<p>Ripple announced three major feature rollouts on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) – Credentials, Deep Freeze, and Simulate – aimed at enhancing compliance, security, and developer confidence across its growing ecosystem.</p>
<ul>
 <li>Credentials build on Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and allow verified issuers to attest to user attributes such as KYC verification, accreditation, or regulatory permissions.</li>
 <li>Deep Freeze gives token issuers precise control over frozen accounts, ensuring flagged addresses cannot send or receive tokens until reviewed and unfrozen.</li>
 <li>Simulate allows developers to ‘dry run’ transactions before committing them to the mainnet, reducing operational risk and ensuring greater reliability for enterprise-grade and high-value transactions.</li>
</ul>
<p>Those features, and $XRP’s performance, make the token a leading contender for one of the best altcoins to buy.</p>
<p>Invest in $XRP at today’s price of around $2.28.</p>
