CER.live’s evaluation covers over 20 indicators, including server protection, user safeguards, penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and proof-of-reserves verification. KuCoin’s flawless performance across these metrics reflects its sustained investment in cybersecurity infrastructure and transparency.
The exchange first earned the AAA rating in June 2025, maintaining it through continuous system improvements and external security audits. According to CER.live, KuCoin’s high standards and consistent testing set it apart as a benchmark for exchange reliability in a rapidly evolving digital asset market.
“Maintaining our top ranking on CER.live is a validation of our relentless focus on user protection,” said BC Wong, CEO of KuCoin. “Our philosophy, ‘Trust First. Trade Next.,’ continues to guide every innovation we launch. Security is not just a feature—it’s our foundation.”

The milestone follows KuCoin’s recent achievement of the CryptoCurrency Security Standard (CCSS) certification, making it the only major exchange to hold all four leading global security credentials — CCSS, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27701:2025, and SOC 2 Type II. The certification is a key milestone in KuCoin’s $2 Billion Trust Project, a multi-year initiative focused on transparency, regulatory collaboration, and infrastructure upgrades
These certifications, combined with the CER.live recognition, strengthen KuCoin’s $2 billion Trust Project, which aims to enhance transparency, resilience, and compliance across its operations.
Founded in 2017, KuCoin now serves over 40 million users across 200+ countries, offering access to more than 1,000 digital assets, institutional solutions, and Web3 tools while maintaining a firm commitment to safety and regulatory alignment.
