This week, BlockDAG (BDAG) is still priced at only $0.0013, yet it has pulled in over $410M during presale, with more than 26.4B coins sold, 312,000+ holders, and over 3 million active users on its X1 mobile miner app. A global sponsorship announcement is expected within 2 days.
On the other side, Chainlink is trading close to $7.80, while Litecoin managed a small 1.8% lift after its halving. This moment puts all three coins under a spotlight, as people look ahead to 2025 to judge which may be the most promising crypto for long-term holding.
Here is a closer look at how each project compares right now in growth, progress, and possible returns.

BlockDAG: Real Utility Before Price Gains

BlockDAG is proving value now instead of waiting for a market cycle to lift prices. Over 20,000 miners have been shipped already, the X1 mobile miner counts more than 3 million active daily users, and its live dashboard and explorer features are running smoothly. The coin price is frozen at $0.0013, while presale batch 30 lists at $0.03. This gives early buyers a 2900% return on paper, an unmatched figure at this stage.
This week carries extra weight for BlockDAG due to the sponsorship reveal. The team has teased that it will exceed the NBA-level preview they showed earlier, promising mainstream attention in just days rather than months.
Unlike many projects that make claims but fall short, BlockDAG has completed every target without delay. It has raised over $410M while steering clear of hype-based campaigns. This sets it apart as more than a short-term bet; it is growing into a large-scale infrastructure platform.

What also makes BlockDAG stand out is its Proof-of-Engagement setup in the X1 app, a buyer battle program running now, a 25% referral bonus, and the upcoming Singapore BDAG Deployment Event on October 1. These moves show it is creating both tools and strong community effects. For anyone searching for the most promising crypto this week, BlockDAG’s combination of numbers, active progress, and upcoming events makes it the clear outlier.

Chainlink: Enterprise Push, Public Caution

Chainlink has built a strong position as the main oracle in blockchain and DeFi. It recently moved into the SWIFT pilot program, aiming to connect banks and traditional financial systems with blockchain tools. Yet, the Chainlink price remains close to $7.80, showing little movement compared to its earlier highs this year.

The trust it has gained from major institutions has not yet translated into stronger buying demand. Trading volumes are steady but lack explosive growth, and many holders are waiting for LINK to finally push past its $6.90–$8.10 resistance zone. Unless DeFi sees another strong wave of adoption or Chainlink integrates directly with large consumer-facing apps, the short-term picture stays uncertain. The long-term outlook, however, still leans positive due to its strong role in DeFi.

Litecoin: Flat After Halving

Litecoin has long been called “silver to Bitcoin’s gold.” Its recent halving only pushed the price by 1.8%, and IntoTheBlock data shows volumes have dropped 5.4% since early September. While halvings often spark interest due to supply cuts, in Litecoin’s case, it has not brought a rush of new demand.
There are also no fresh upgrades or developer plans in progress, leaving adoption mostly tied to mid-sized exchanges and older payment channels. This shows Litecoin remains functional and trusted, but it is not pulling in new attention or growth.

Its strengths remain in stability and fast transaction speeds, yet it does not hold the strong upside appeal that buyers chasing future growth are seeking. Unless overall altcoins rally again or a sudden integration with major payment networks takes place, the Litecoin price prediction will likely stay on the flat side.

Why This Week Is Key for All Three

Chainlink and Litecoin both keep credibility in traditional circles, but BlockDAG is the only one with a scheduled major event this week. Its $0.0013 entry price and over $410M raised give it a unique position.
Chainlink awaits enterprise adoption for real demand, while Litecoin struggles without a roadmap to spark growth. For BlockDAG, the only question is how much longer the $0.0013 chance will last before the sponsorship reveal brings it into the spotlight.
From the angle of the most promising crypto, this week highlights the difference between projects with real-time catalysts and those that are steady but quiet. BlockDAG is offering not just a claim, but a countdown to a public breakthrough.
