In the world of crypto, testnets are often quiet technical checkpoints, noticed mainly by developers. Solana ran Tour de SOL. Cardano pushed Shelley. Kaspa relied on DAGNet. Each was an important milestone, but most users never knew they existed. They were designed to check performance and fix issues, not inspire mass adoption.
<a href="https://blockdag.network/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BlockDAG (BDAG)</a> is doing something entirely different. Its Awakening Testnet is not hidden in the background. With more than 3 million people mining on the app daily, nearly 20,000 miners already shipped, and account abstraction plus live explorer tools working from the start, it feels less like a preview and more like the opening act of a global launch.
<h2 id="b-traditional-testnets-were-valuable-but-lacked-visibility-b">Traditional Testnets Were Valuable but Lacked Visibility</h2>
Historically, testnets existed to test, not to grow. Developers ran transactions, tweaked consensus mechanisms, and solved bugs in closed or semi-public settings. Solana’s Tour de SOL gave engineers benchmarks. Cardano’s Shelley tested governance. Kaspa’s DAGNet refined its blockDAG consensus. These efforts were necessary, but they didn’t invite communities to participate.
This left a gap. By the time the mainnet went live, users had to catch up with years of unseen progress. Community trust needed to be built after launch, rather than during development. For many projects, testnets were quiet sandboxes, closed rehearsals with no audience.

BlockDAG is changing this formula. By opening its testnet to millions of people from the start, it is building both technical strength and user trust at the same time.
<h2 id="b-blockdag-s-awakening-a-public-rehearsal-for-the-future-b">BlockDAG’s Awakening: A Public Rehearsal for the Future</h2>
Instead of limiting its testnet to internal trials, BlockDAG has made Awakening a stage for both development and community engagement. On September 25, it won’t be tucked away in technical reports. It will be live, interactive, and used by millions.
Over 3 million daily mobile miners already support the network through the X1 app. Nearly 19,900+ hardware miners have shipped and are syncing directly with the testnet. Users can view real-time performance data through the updated explorer, interact through abstracted accounts, and benefit from an EIP-4337-ready system that introduces smart account capabilities from day one.
<img loading="lazy" src="https://thecoinrise.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/3-100.png" alt="" width="1170" height="780">
This means BlockDAG’s testnet isn’t just a rehearsal behind the curtain. It is a visible, functioning environment where growth and validation happen together, creating momentum before the mainnet even launches.
<h2 id="b-why-the-0-0013-price-point-signals-opportunity-b">Why the $0.0013 Price Point Signals Opportunity</h2>
What makes this even more compelling is how pricing and adoption align. While most projects use testnets to make promises about the future, BlockDAG’s testnet is already delivering proof today. That lowers the risk for early participants and turns its price point into an attractive opportunity.
The presale has already raised nearly $410 million, selling more than 26.2 billion coins. Batch 30 prices BDAG at $0.03, yet a price lock keeps the entry point at $0.0013 until October 1. That is a 2,900% Gain from Batch 1, and it is happening alongside daily growth in miners, tools, and active users.

Each passing week brings more participation and more visible infrastructure, which strengthens confidence. The Awakening Testnet isn’t waiting to prove itself. It’s demonstrating value in real time, making the presale feel less like speculation and more like a chance to secure a position before wider adoption drives prices higher.
<h2 id="b-conclusion-a-testnet-that-brings-the-future-forward-b">Conclusion: A Testnet That Brings the Future Forward</h2>
BlockDAG has redefined what a testnet should be. Instead of being a hidden step on the way to mainnet, Awakening has become the bridge between technical readiness and real-world adoption. By engaging millions of users, syncing hardware miners, and integrating features like account abstraction and explorer visibility upfront, BlockDAG is treating its testnet as the real launchpad.
With the presale still available at $0.0013 until October 1, this is not just another stage in development. It’s the beginning of a broader ecosystem, already active and growing before the mainnet arrives. BlockDAG’s testnet is no longer a sandbox. It’s the spotlight moment that proves the project’s future potential, and the audience is already here.
