The markets have seen a surge in options trading, driving prices higher for Bitcoin and Ethereum as interest mounts among both institutional and retail investors. This trend is further solidified by robust on-chain indicators.

The increased activity highlights substantial interest from both institutional and retail investors.

Options traders and market participants play a critical role in this surge, with Ethereum hitting new highs and Bitcoin showing robust performance.
Market expert Tom Lee suggests Ethereum could potentially outperform Bitcoin, noting the large taker buy volume as a strong indicator of bullish sentiment. Such on-chain data often leads to continued positive trends in crypto markets. Tom Lee stated,

"I think there's a very high probability that Ethereum will flip Bitcoin. How big could ETH get?... ETH doesn't have a market cap. Has a market size. Has a network value."
