Polymarket has integrated Chainlink's oracle network on Polygon, enhancing market decision speed and accuracy with new 15-minute settlement features, announced via official channels, revolutionizing prediction markets.
This integration signifies a critical upgrade in DeFi prediction markets, potentially boosting engagement and trust due to more reliable data and faster outcomes.
Polymarket has integrated Chainlink's oracle network on the Polygon mainnet to enhance market prediction accuracy. This significant step introduces 15-minute settlement markets, marking a major upgrade in prediction market infrastructure.
The integration involves Polymarket, a decentralized platform, and Chainlink, known for its trusted oracle solutions. Key figures like Sergey Nazarov emphasize the partnership's role in bolstering market reliability with high-quality data.

"Polymarket’s decision to integrate Chainlink’s proven oracle infrastructure is a pivotal milestone that greatly enhances how prediction markets are created and settled. When market outcomes are resolved by high-quality data and tamper-proof computation from oracle networks, prediction markets evolve into reliable, real-time signals the world can trust." — Sergey Nazarov, Co-Founder, Chainlink.

The collaboration between Polymarket and Chainlink immediately impacts the asset price prediction markets, offering faster settlements. This innovation increases user engagement and could significantly influence trading volumes.
The financial implications include potential growth in the utility of Chainlink’s native token, LINK, and increased activity on the Polygon network, where Polymarket operates, enhancing its market position.
This integration is expected to drive technological advancements in prediction market settlement processes. The reliance on oracles helps Polymarket maintain legal compliance and market trust.
Data shows similar integrations in DeFi, such as with Aave and Synthetix. The adoption of oracles could lead to significant changes in how prediction markets operate, setting a precedent for deterministic resolution based on reliable data sources. Read original article on tokentopnews.com
