Ethereum scaling solution Soneium has integrated interoperability framework Hyperlane, enabling its developers to build cross-chain dApps and token bridges. 
Hyperlane has <a rel="nofollow" href="https://x.com/hyperlane/status/1904337461888856196?t=OXQiOJE331Dj_Naf4cho9g&amp;s=19" target="_blank">launched</a> on Soneium (SONY), an Ethereum (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/ethereum/">ETH</a>) layer-2 blockchain founded by Sony Group Corporation and Startale.

The integration with Hyperlane is instrumental for Soneium’s goal of <a href="https://docs.soneium.org/docs/?utm_source=chatgpt.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">empowering its developers with third-party tools</a> that facilitate building and launching dApps. With Hyperlane’s cross-chain interoperability, developers on Soneium will be able to create cross-chain apps and token bridges, enabling them to connect Soneium with other blockchains and unlock a wider range of possibilities for their projects. 
This development comes on the heels of another big announcement from Soneium. As <a href="https://crypto.news/soneium-gears-up-to-launch-blockchain-mini-apps-for-200m-line-users/" target="_blank">reported by crypto.news</a> on March 12, Soneium has partnered with Japan’s biggest social network LINE to launch a serious of mini-apps. Now that Hyperlane is live on Soneium, the builders of these apps will be able to leverage cross-chain interoperability to integrate those apps with other blockchains. 
Despite the news, Soneium’s token SONY is down 17% in the past 24 hours, currently bottoming-out at $0.00014, where it has been consolidating after the sharp drop from its January peak of $0.0007.

It supports many popular blockchains including Ethereum (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/ethereum/">ETH</a>), Arbitrum (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/arbitrum/">ARB</a>), Optimism (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/optimism/">OP</a>), Solana (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/solana/">SOL</a>), and Cosmos (<a href="https://crypto.news/price/cosmos/">ATOM</a>), along with newer ones like Aleph Zero, Dogechain, and now Soneium. 
In addition to enabling cross-chain dApps that make it possible to access features and services from different blockchains in one place, Hyperlane provides cross-chain <a href="https://crypto.news/tag/liquidity/">liquidity</a> solutions to enable asset movement across across blockchain ecosystems.
