Analysts are attributing this to the possibility of the U.S. government selling 69,000 BTC, which could further increase selling pressure.

The absence of significant inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs has heightened speculations among investors. Whale Alert data also highlighted a surge in ETH being moved to exchanges, potentially triggering the sell-off.

Solana (SOL) also suffered losses, dropping over 3% in the last 24 hours to $145. Its daily low stood at $143.60, while the highest level reached was $152.10.
