<p>In all bull cycles, there’s a market leader, and the first part of this cycle belonged to <a href="https://crypto.news/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Solana (SOL)</a>, as it went from $8 to over $200 before correcting. Ripple (XRP) hasn’t fared as well, with the XRP price up slightly since the cycle’s bottom but still down over 85% since its 2017 ATH.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://crypto.news/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP</a> price has remained relatively flat, disappointing many investors over the last 12 months. Despite some positive developments for XRP notably the positive outcome in their litigation battle with the SEC, XRP has been disappointing.</p>
<p>Consequently, some XRP investors are starting to look for better opportunities, particularly in newer projects or tokens, which typically offer the biggest returns in any four-year cycle. One can never write off XRP, especially with the connections to the Ripple Foundation and banks.</p>
