The Meme Games hits $400K in presale, boosted by Paralympic excitement and Olympic-themed allure.
The Meme Games (MGMES), a new Olympic-themed memecoin, continues to advance in its fundraising efforts as its presale hits the $400K milestone.
The commencement of the Paralympics has helped, reminding traders of the Olympic spirit and the excitement that comes with it.

The Meme Games presale has experienced a notable uptick in demand this week. With the Paralympic Games beginning, the urgency to buy MGMES is rising. This is because the presale will end on the same day as the Paralympic closing ceremony.
Per the project’s website, MGMES will launch on exchanges on 10 September 2024. The Paralympic Games closing ceremony will be a peak attention time for the Olympics, and the idea is that this will mark the perfect opportunity for MGMES to debut.
However, the project is not just counting on hype to bolster its price – the team has encapsulated the thrill of the Olympic Games through its own competitive game.

The Meme Games investors are competing for cash bonuses, not gold medals. Every presale investment also acts as a lottery ticket that grants entry into a “169-Meter Dash.”
This is the project’s flagship feature. It’s a virtual race, and users will guess which character they think will win. Choose correctly, and they get a 25% bonus on their investment.
There are five characters to choose from, and they’re all famous memecoins – Dogecoin, Pepe, Brett, Turbo, and Dogwifhat. Each character has unique traits and abilities, but all have a 20% chance of winning.

Pro tip: investors can batch their presale purchase into amounts to maximize their odds of winning the race and securing the 25% bonus.
The 169-Meter Dash brings the excitement of the Olympic Games to the memecoin sector. Investors don’t just feel like they’re speculating – they feel like they’re actively participating.
It must be noted that The Meme Games markets itself as the “official” memecoin for the 2024 Olympic Games, but there has been no official designation.
Another way investors can earn from The Meme Games is by staking rewards. The feature is live and promises a 476% APY. However, the APY is variable and will decrease as more tokens are staked.

Staking emissions will continue until June 2026, reflecting the project’s commitment to long-term growth.
So far, over 21 million MGMES tokens have been staked, and the reward emissions are 38.5 MGMES per ETH block, which occurs approximately every 15 seconds.

Analyst thinks The Meme Games will explode after its presale

With The Meme Games’ presale promptly closing, investors are keen to understand its potential after launching on exchanges. While nothing is ever guaranteed, the project has had coverage from high-profile analysts and media outlets, which is certainly a positive sign.
For that reason, The Meme Games is well positioned ahead of its exchange launch. One of the analysts who supports MGMES is ClayBro. He recently published a video saying it could ”be the most explosive launch yet.”
“It hasn’t raised too much money, so as soon as any amount of money begins to inflow after its launch, the price will explode,” he said.

And he’s not the only one hoping for big gains. The 99Bitcoins YouTube channel said its price could rise by 100x after the presale.
Furthermore, The Meme Games has been spotlighted by top media outlets, including CryptoPotato, Techopedia, and The Economic Times.
The project is on the radar of industry-leading figures, and that could translate to significant attention as the presale closes.
We can already see an uptick in demand on social media, with 15,700 people following its X account and 2,500 in its Telegram community.
But even though the community is growing, there’s still time to be early. With $400K raised and a DEX listing correlating with the Paralympics’ closing ceremony, investors can still get in before the masses.
