<p>Today’s crypto prices are predominantly in the red, with some altcoins bucking the trend. The most significant development is <a href="https://coingape.com/bitcoin-price-regains-70000-memorial-day-rally-in-play/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin’s</a> plunge to the $68K mark, a substantial drop after yesterday’s $70k. Ethereum also experienced a significant decline, falling below $3,900. Solana, on the other hand, saw slight gains within the altcoin sector, while others showed a downward price trend. In the meme coin sector, Shiba Inu, BONK, and FLOKI emerged as the winners.</p>
<p>It’s worth noting that the global crypto market cap was down 0.58% to $2.57 trillion today, May 28. However, the total crypto market volume over the last 24 hours saw a significant increase, up 43.08% to $87.7 billion, indicating a surge in trading activity.</p>
