<p>The top crypto prices today were hit by a bearish turn as the Bitcoin (BTC) price extended below the $61,000 evel. Furthermore, the Ethereum (ETH) plunged significantly and dropped to the $2,900 level. In addition, other top altcoins, such as Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA) also registered notable losses.</p>

<h3 id="1-bitcoin-price">1. Bitcoin Price</h3> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bitcoin price</a> plunged 3.33<em>%</em> reaching $60,802.57 at the time of writing on Saturday, May 11. On the other hand, it’s trading volume soared 7.55% to $27.12 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the crypto’s market capitalization stood at $1.19 trillion.</p> 
<h3 id="2-ethereum-price">2. Ethereum Price</h3> 
<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ethereum price</a> crashed 3.60% to $2,916.58 at press time with a market valuation of $350.36 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume surged 8.86%, reaching $11.98 billion.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/solana/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Solana price</a> extended lower than the $150 level today. The Solana price lost 4.86%<strong>,</strong> settling at $145.26. In contrast, SOL witnessed a 5.68% gain in trade volume to $2.46 billion in the last 24 hours.</p> 
<h3 id="4-xrp-price">4. XRP Price</h3> 
<p>Whilst, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/xrp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XRP price</a> traded around the $0.50 mark amid the bearish downturn. The XRP price recorded a dip of 2.63%, reaching $0.5045. On the other hand, XRP’s trading volume rose by 7.76% to $1.04 billion.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the <a href="https://coingape.com/price/cardano/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cardano crypto price</a> tumbled 3.94% to $0.4464 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a hike of 0.52% in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $300.69 million.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://coingape.com/price/dogecoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dogecoin price</a> lost 4.09% to $0.1445 while its rival, <a href="https://coingape.com/price/shiba-inu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shiba Inu price</a> plunged 3.31% and traded at $0.00002259.</p>
