Launched in March 2022, Q blockchain introduces a decentralized governance infrastructure for Web3, featuring Shared Governance Security to fill a crucial gap in web3 governance.
It's built on a native EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain, providing decentralized organizations with governance as-a- service that streamlines Web3 project management and mitigates governance-related risks, potentially saving billions in losses.
Q's innovation includes the Total Value Governed (TVG) metric, demonstrating secure and transparent decentralized asset management. It incorporates DAO governance's key elements—Constitution, Expert Panels, and On-chain Voting—into its architecture for clear legal structures, expert-driven decisions, and secure governance actions.
The backbone of Q consists of the Q Constitution, Validator Nodes, and Root Nodes, enhanced by a unique dispute resolution system and applications linking governance to economic benefits. This improves security and scalability, making Q a versatile and reliable platform for decentralized applications.
Q protocol is designed for user-friendliness and easy integration with the crypto ecosystem, promoting secure, transparent, and community-led governance. This approach aims to build trust, stability, and encourage broad adoption, potentially integrating with mainstream finance.
Central to Q Protocol is the Q token (QGOV), which is essential for governance, security, and protocol functionality. Token holders participate in governance, earn fees from other projects using Q's services, and shape Q's future.
Q is making strides in DAOs and other sectors, supported by 61 validators and over 1300 pending, showcasing a large ecosystem backed by notable partners and a community of over 50K.
Unique for its broad support from entities like Greenfield Fund, Haskey Capital, and Deutsche Telekom and its growing community of over 50K members, significant partnerships and widespread engagement distinguish Q’s ecosystem, solidifying its position in pioneering decentralized governance.
QGOV is not tradeable at the moment, but it is possible to earn it by participating in Galxy campaign https://rewards.qdev.li/.
Watch out for the news on Q’s X for the upcoming ICO and listing.
