A recent study by the Solana Foundation found that its has over 2,500 monthly active developers.&nbsp;

This growth is likely due to the increasing activity on Solana and rising SOL prices. 
In December, Solana briefly surpassed <a href="https://crypto.news/solana-surges-14-closing-the-gap-with-bnb-again/" data-type="post" data-id="14235884">BNB </a>to become the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.&nbsp; 
At the time, its price reached a yearly high of $125. 
However, SOL has retraced.&nbsp; 
As of Jan. 9, it was the fifth-largest project by market capitalization.
