It&#39;s now past the $90 mark. Granted, we didn&#39;t expect it to double past the $30 mark but we still valued Solana&#39;s potential.<img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/829259181dc443db8cccedcad42c786d.png" />In our article, we highlighted how Solana and Visa entered into a significant partnership to enable the latter&#39;s stablecoin settlement capabilities on the former&#39;s high-performance blockchain. The collaboration leverages Solana&#39;s fast transaction speeds and low costs, making Visa one of the first major payment companies to utilize Solana for live settlement payments.Additionally, Solana has been making strides to bring its blockchain into the real world. Despite a relatively subdued crypto market in 2023, Solana stands out as the &#34;most loved altcoin&#34; with consistent inflows and positive performance. A comprehensive report on Solana&#39;s Q3 highlights the platform&#39;s improved resiliency, reliability, security, and strong on-chain activity. Solana also boasts one of the largest networks in terms of active developers, positioning it as a key player in the blockchain space.We also recently discussed Solana&#39;s evolving ecosystem and upcoming airdrops. The Solana airdrop season began with <a href="https://x.com/drews888/status/1720063768451833869?s&#61;20&amp;ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Jupiter Exchange&#39;s announcement at Solna Breakpoint</a>, offering an allocation of 40% of their upcoming $JUP tokens to their community through an airdrop.Next came Pyth Network&#39;s <a href="https://airdrop.pyth.network/?ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$PYTH tokens airdrop</a>, which extended its reach to over 200 decentralized applications (dApps) across 27 blockchains that utilize Pyth data. As the premier price feed oracle within the Solana ecosystem, if you had used any Solana dApps before the snapshot date, you are likely to get rewarded. Phantom, Jito Network, Margin Fi, Tensor Trade, and Drip Haus are five protocols on Solana that don&#39;t yet have a token but should be on your radar.We also can&#39;t mention Solana without mentioning BONK. Now up more than 675% over the month, BONK is one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies in December, putting the likes of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Solana itself to shame. Its craze has also driven a surge in the Solana Saga phone, which comes loaded with 30 million BONK, with some being sold for $5,000.<h2 id="header-1"><a href="https://www.blockhead.co/2023/12/18/solanas-web3-saga-phone-sells-for-5k-on-bonk-craze/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> </a><a href="https://www.blockhead.co/tag/celestia/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Celestia</a> (TIA): &#43;450% Since Publication</h2>Our discussion of Celestia dates back to the end of October when the blockchain network launched its mainnet beta and airdropped TIA to 580,000 users. Technically, Celestia dates back to 2019 but its new offerings position the blockchain as the first modular data availability network. Mustafa Al-Bassam, who holds a PhD in blockchain scaling, holds the role of CEO.<img src="https://www.blockhead.co/content/images/2023/12/Screenshot-2023-12-23-at-10.54.41.png" />As per its website, <a href="https://celestia.org/?ref&#61;blockhead.co" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Celestia</a> &#34;is a modular data availability network that securely scales with the number of users, making it easy for anyone to launch their own blockchain.&#34;TIA is an integral component of Celestia. As well as incentivizing traders, the token plays a crucial role in the Celestia ecosystem by facilitating transactions.Some 60 million TIA tokens, representing 6% of its 1 billion total supply, were airdropped to early adopters. Major exchanges including Binance, KuCoin, and Bybit are supporting the token, offering a TIA-USDT pair.<h2 id="header-2"><a href="https://www.blockhead.co/tag/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Bitcoin</a> (BTC): &#43;74% Since Publication</h2>As every analyst out there is claiming it, we might as well too. Due to the nature of our publication being rooted in cryptocurrencies, we&#39;ve been covering Bitcoin&#39;s price since the dawn of Blockhead.
