The <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/significant-decrease-in-ethereum-gas-consumption-for-nfts-reasons-behind-it/" data-wpel-link="internal">NFT</a> market, within the rising cryptocurrency landscape, has seen a slight shift with the emergence of new players—Ethereum’s previously dominant position in the NFT market is being challenged. This week, NFT collections on the Solana and <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/bitcoin-may-approaching-the-bottom-pay-attention-to-this-data/" data-wpel-link="internal">Bitcoin</a> networks have shown progress, with Bitcoin’s ecosystem outperforming the Ethereum ecosystem on certain days and Solana’s ecosystem securing the third position. 
According to data from the NFT data platform CryptoSlam, on December 12th, the Bitcoin network surpassed Ethereum in terms of 24-hour sales volume. NFT sales in the Bitcoin ecosystem exceeded $24 million, driven by the sales of various Bitcoin Ordinals NFTs, which gained millions of dollars in value. In addition, the Bitcoin network also outperformed the Ethereum ecosystem in terms of metrics like 30-day sales volume, with Bitcoin achieving sales of over $463 million compared to Ethereum’s $373 million.

With all these developments, NFT collections offered on the Ethereum network, such as Matr1x Kuku and Pudgy Penguins, have attracted significant interest from buyers, resulting in NFT sales on the network exceeding $16 million in daily data. 
Moreover, data indicates that the Solana network is in third place in terms of 24-hour sales volume, with figures exceeding $6 million. The volume on Solana is primarily driven by the Tensorians NFT collection, DeGods NFT collection, and Gaimin Gladiators. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="why-is-the-nft-market-rising">Why is the NFT Market Rising?</h2> 
While Bitcoin has recently made gains in the NFT market, the network is still far from surpassing Ethereum’s all-time sales record of over $41 billion. Currently, the Bitcoin network has reached $1 billion in all-time NFT sales and is in sixth place. 
These positive developments in the NFT market come particularly after the recent rallies in the cryptocurrency market. Investors have seen profits and especially Layer-1 projects like Ethereum and Solana have reached a significant number of users due to their growth. 
Recently, the frenzy in the GameFi sector continues to grow, and specifically, token plans of GameFi projects on the Ethereum network have led to increased sales and significant decision-making by investors regarding the future.
