In doing so, the company garnered a staggering $31.7 million in power credits, a 300% increase from its $7.8 million in July.</span></p> 
 <h2 id="b-mining-cash-not-just-bitcoin-b"><b>Mining Cash, Not Just Bitcoin</b></h2> 
 <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">By comparison, Riot Platforms’ actual </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bitcoin mining</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> operations seem almost modest. The company mined 19% fewer Bitcoin in August compared to July. If converted to Bitcoin at current prices, the revenue from power credits equals 1,232 BTC, almost four times the 333 Bitcoin Riot generated via traditional mining.&nbsp;</span></p>
