0cash was launched on 02/09/2020 with less than 0.5% premine, 5% developer fee, without ICO, and was not a chain fork of any coin. 0cash has also committed itself to always being GPU mineable and ASIC-resistant. 0cash uses zkSNARKs for privacy (similar to ZCash). 0cash offers total payment confidentiality, while still maintaining a decentralized network using a public Blockchain. 0cash aims to combine Bitcoin’s security with Zcash’s anonymity and privacy. At the core of 0cash technology is zero-knowledge proofs, which allows transaction data to be validated without revealing information about the amount and the parties involved. 0cash uses specific zero-knowledge proofs called zk-SNARKs (zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge).
