In a watershed moment, the DAO overseeing the Arbitrum ecosystem is poised to decide on expanding Orbit chains beyond Ethereum. Assuming the new proposal is accepted, Orbit chains will be deployed on other blockchain networks. The development will grant extra flexibility and usability for Orbit chains, letting them run on various blockchain ecosystems apart from Ethereum.
