Moca Network, the flagship project by Animoca Brands that is building the world’s largest chain-agnostic decentralized digital identity network, today announced the upcoming launch of MocaPortfolio, a new approach offering the Moca Network community exposure to Animoca Brands’ ecosystem.
Participants of MocaPortfolio will be eligible to receive token allocations at a combined valuation of US$20 million from projects in Animoca Brands’ investment and partnership portfolio, subject to vesting terms. MocaPortfolio is the conduit through which the MOCA Coin (MOCA) and Mocaverse NFT communities can engage with and support Animoca Brands’ portfolio companies via access to vested token allocations, which represents a departure from traditional one-off airdrops.
Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, said: “MocaPortfolio represents an evolution in how we reward and involve our community. Rather than focusing on singular airdrop events, we are offering an ongoing, structured opportunity to share in the growth of promising projects across the Web3 landscape. This approach reflects our commitment to value creation together with the Moca community.”
Kenneth Shek, project lead of Moca Network, said: “MocaPortfolio is about growing together with the projects in Animoca Brands’ portfolio, while empowering our community to build financial literacy and long-term value through active participation. MocaPortfolio serves as a new layer of value accrual for MOCA, complementing what’s to come with Moca Chain’s tokenomics and reinforcing our mission to build a sustainable digital identity ecosystem.”
Through MocaPortfolio, participants can gain access to a curated pipeline of tokens. The first registration event of MocaPortfolio will occur in Q4 2025 with Magic Eden token (ME), with further tokens from Animoca Brands’ portfolio to be announced.
