XRP could follow a new accumulation pattern before its next major price expansion, according to crypto analyst Egrag Crypto.
His latest monthly chart analysis projects a gradual price advance that could eventually take the cryptocurrency to $17 in 2027, $27 in 2029, and $48 in 2031. The projections rely on XRP’s historical accumulation periods and a recurring relationship between price movements and the 21-month exponential moving average (EMA).
In a recent tweet, Egrag Crypto introduced what he calls the VHD theory, which identifies three stages of XRP’s historical price behavior: vertical, horizontal, and diagonal accumulation. He believes XRP has entered the third stage and could gradually establish higher lows before its <a href="https://timestabloid.com/vandell-says-xrp-is-set-up-for-a-much-bigger-move-but-issues-this-warning/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">next major upward move</a>.

<h2 id="strong-egrag-crypto-identifies-three-accumulation-phases-strong">Egrag Crypto Identifies Three Accumulation Phases</h2>
Egrag Crypto uses XRP’s monthly chart to examine how the cryptocurrency behaved before previous price expansions. He identifies the first stage as vertical accumulation, which lasted approximately 488 days. During this period, XRP traded below the 21-month EMA before making a sharp upward move.
The second stage involved horizontal accumulation and lasted approximately 853 days. XRP traded sideways below and around the 21-month EMA throughout this period before recording another significant expansion.
Egrag Crypto believes XRP now occupies the third stage, which he calls diagonal accumulation. He estimates that this phase could last approximately 669 days. Unlike the previous periods, he expects XRP to gradually move higher within a blue ascending channel while establishing higher lows.
The analyst also uses the durations of the first two phases to support his timing projection. He averages 488 days and 853 days, arriving at 670.5 days. His projected 669-day diagonal phase comes close to that mathematical average.
Although he acknowledges that the timing alignment could be coincidental, he considers the similarity worth monitoring.
<h2 id="strong-xrp-s-immediate-targets-include-1-55-2-60-and-3-50-strong">XRP’s Immediate Targets Include $1.55, $2.60 And $3.50</h2>
Egrag Crypto identifies three important price levels in his diagonal accumulation roadmap. He wants XRP to reclaim the $1.55 region, which represents the 21-month EMA area on his chart.
The analyst places the next major resistance at $2.60. If XRP clears that level, he projects a move toward $3.50 as the diagonal expansion objective.
However, Egrag Crypto believes XRP could continue climbing after reaching $3.50. His larger projection comes from an ascending green macro trendline that produces increasingly higher price targets over time.
<h2 id="strong-the-macro-trendline-points-to-48-by-2031-strong">The Macro Trendline Points To $48 By 2031</h2>
Egrag Crypto’s chart places <a href="https://timestabloid.com/analyst-predicts-xrp-price-rally-to-17-heres-the-timeline/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">XRP at $17</a> in 2027, $27 in 2029, and $48 in 2031. These projections reflect the rising upper boundary of his long-term ascending channel.
The analyst considers price, market structure, and time essential to his thesis. He expects the current phase to produce sustained higher monthly lows, with a successful reclaim of the 21-month EMA serving as an important confirmation.
If XRP follows the pattern he identifies, the cryptocurrency could complete a diagonal accumulation phase before another major expansion. However, the <a href="https://timestabloid.com/xrp-to-48-expert-says-it-sounds-crazy-until-you-look-at-this-chart/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">$17, $27, and $48 projections</a> remain speculative targets rather than guaranteed outcomes.
