BlockDAG's official Fresh Start FAQ allocates 50 billion NEW BDAG to mining rewards. That is one-third of the 150 billion supply. The same FAQ says the release schedule will be published before launch. This BlockDAG News report asks what is known about mining emissions.

As of November 6, no schedule was found in the sources reviewed. An allocation is not unlocked supply. Official documents were read directly.

The 150 billion split is 50B for existing users, 50B for mining, 25B for the presale and 25B for ecosystem growth.
The older BlockDAG site gave miners 75 billion, or 50% of a 150 billion supply. The latest split cuts that to 33.33%. The FAQ does not explain the change or define "transition".
Miner deliveries are underway, yet final reward rules are not public. That timing gap is the central question for miners. Anyone weighing mining hardware would need the schedule to estimate rewards.

Does the Old BDAG Halving Schedule Apply to NEW BDAG?

The official X says halving happens every 12 months on its tokenomics page. Its mining FAQ says every 12 to 18 months. The two pages differ. Neither says the rule applies to NEW BDAG. An older wiki launch plan listed 7.3 billion legacy mining rewards issued at launch. No comparable NEW token figure was found.

Under any halving model, the first period holds half the pool. This is arithmetic only. The FAQ gives no formula. A different model, such as fixed monthly emission, would give different figures.
Legacy BDAG is a separate asset. Its tracker page shows 105.24 billion total supply against a 150 billion maximum.

BlockDAG News: What Could Unpublished Mining Rules Mean?

For BlockDAG News readers, the missing schedule matters for supply. Emission speed would decide how fast mined tokens could reach the market. Look for:

An emission formula, by block, month or hashrate

A halving or reduction schedule

Whether mined NEW BDAG is transferable at once or vests

The contract or wallet holding the 50B

A dated document published before launch

A fast schedule could raise tradable supply. A slow one could delay rewards. Both outcomes are unknown. The FAQ says transferability and trading follow final launch and exchange terms. No launch circulation figure was found. Ask whether mining rewards will be paid in legacy BlockDAG, NEW token or both during the transition.

The Bottom Line

This BlockDAG News review finds a 50B mining allocation, miner deliveries already underway and no published release schedule. Treat the emission rate, halving and unlock timing as unconfirmed until BlockDAG publishes its mining documentation.
