Nvidia, Nike Say No: 50 Firms Object to OKXICE Tokenized Stocks
In <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-news-november-2-bitcoin-ethereum-fear-greed-us-midterms" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Crypto news today</a> starts with a corporate pushback. As of November 2, 2026, 50 companies have objected to OKXICE tokenized stocks.&nbsp;
According to the<a href="https://www.okx.com/cdn/assets/okfe/web3-activities/okxicetsv/notices/OKXICE_Tokenized_Securities_Venue_Public_Notice_26.10.30.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">OKXICE public notice</a> dated October 30, 2026. Nvidia, Nike, Micron, Costco and Reddit are all named.
This <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/tokenized-stocks-objections-33-companies-okxice" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">OKX ICE news today</a> matters for crypto news readers, because the venue promises 24/7 stock trading on blockchain.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-okxice-tokenized-securities-venue-explained-span-span">OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue Explained</h2>
OKXICE is a blockchain venue for stock tokens, run by OKXICE LLC. Per the notice, ICE, the NYSE parent company, owns 50%, and OKC USA, an OKX affiliate, owns the other 50%.&nbsp;
The OKX and ICE partnership brings traditional stocks on blockchain through Uniswap v4 pools on X Layer.
Only wallets holding a verified soulbound token can trade. The venue runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-which-companies-object-to-okxice-span-span">Which Companies Object to OKXICE?</h2>
The notice lists 50 issuers that sent a Notice of Issuer Objection. The Nvidia Nike Micron OKXICE objection group sits beside other major names:

The Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs and <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/jpmorgan-bitcoin-forecast-10-percent-returns-volatility-risk" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">JPMorgan objection</a> appears in the same OKXICE objections list as the Costco and Reddit objection.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-is-nvidia-stock-tokenized-on-okx-span-span">Is Nvidia Stock Tokenized on OKX?</h2>
The notice does not confirm a live Nvidia <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/tokenized-stocks-volume-record-high-rwa" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">tokenized stock</a>, and Nvidia is on the objection list.&nbsp;
The same applies to Nike tokenized shares and any Micron OKXICE listing, since both companies also objected.

The notice does not show the October 23 count, so the doubling claim rests on the tweet.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-why-are-companies-rejecting-tokenized-stocks-span-span">Why Are Companies Rejecting Tokenized Stocks?</h2>
The notice gives no reasons. It does say tokenized securities can be created by a third party unaffiliated with the issuer, which may explain why companies rejecting tokenized stocks are speaking up against the OKXICE tokenized stocks plan.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-can-companies-stop-tokenized-stock-trading-span-span">Can Companies Stop Tokenized Stock Trading?</h2>
The notice records objections to OKXICE tokenized stocks but does not say whether OKX ICE tokenized shares rejected by issuers will be withheld.&nbsp;
The venue relies on a five-year<a href="https://www.sec.gov/files/rules/exorders/2026/34-106402.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">SEC exemption order</a> issued September 17, 2026, with these limits:

In OKB price news today, no source links the move to the objections.
<h2 id="span-span-style-font-size-17px-expert-view-what-could-come-next-span-span">Expert View: What Could Come Next?</h2>
Analysts following OKXICE tokenized stocks news today may read the objections as a consent test for onchain stocks.&nbsp;
If issuers keep objecting, OKX ICE tokenized stocks could face a harder path in blockchain <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/stock-trading-crypto-exchanges-broker-routed-tokenized-equities" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">stock trading</a>.
Whether the pushback changes the launch remains unclear, and the venue may still go live under the exemption.
